  • A 60-minute version of my popular 30-minute theta power nap track, posted in 2014 here: • Theta Power Nap Music ...
A 60-minute power nap can help improve memory of complex information, places, faces, facts and stimulate creative problem-solving.

This 60-minute power nap track should be listened to all the way through for the best effect. The frequency of the track increases towards the end, to help wake you up and reduce grogginess.
It starts at 10Hz, then gradually ramps down to 5Hz by 6 minutes. It then starts to go up to 12Hz in the last 4 minutes to wake you up.
If you want to have a deeper and longer nap, try my Deep Delta Power Nap track: • Deep Delta Power Nap I...
    How To Use It?
Find a dark comfortable place to rest your head and relax. If you aren't able to nap somewhere dark, try using an eye mask to help block out the light.
As you are trying to nap, it's always best to have your eyes closed.
If you are concerned about falling asleep and not waking up when the track ends, I recommend setting an alarm on your phone.
    When to Listen?
Don't listen to this power nap track too close to bedtime, because it might disrupt your sleep.
The optimum time to power nap will vary, depending on when you woke up and started your day. This nap wheel tool will give you a useful guide: saramednick.com...
    Headphones Are NOT Required
That said, my personal preference is to use headphones, as I find they help to block out external sound and make it easier to nap. The choice is yours.
    Recommend Headphones For Sleep
Normal headphones are usually very uncomfortable and impractical to use while sleeping. I've had some SleepPhones for over 10 years now and I highly recommend you give them a try.
SleepPhones are specifically designed for use while sleeping, with thin flat speakers that are contained inside a very comfortable headband. You can use them while lying on your side and they also have wireless versions, making them very easy and practical to use.
A discount deal for my viewers: Use the coupon code 'MINDAMEND' to get $10 off any headphones purchase on the SleepPhones website.
You can find out more about them here: www.MindAmend....
How Loud Should The Volume Be?
There is varying advice and opinions on the impact of volume with brainwave entrainment, with some saying the louder it is the more impact it has. From my own experience, my advice is to play it at a volume level you feel comfortable with. The main thing to consider is that it should be loud enough to hear the repetitive isochronic tones, so you don't want it so quiet you can hardly hear them. But you also don't want it so loud that its uncomfortable for you. Somewhere in the middle is my recommendation. Because you are trying to fall asleep with this track, I'd start off by trying a lower volume and see how you respond to that.

I really think this recording here saved my life about a year ago when I was having severe insomnia. It was so bad I didn’t even feel safe to drive my car as I was so tired and my attention span was so short that I could barely focus on the road for more than a few seconds at a time. This went on for months, and it was Hell. The 1.5 hour naps I would get when listening to this video were the only times that my brain seemed to shut off and truly rest. Thankfully with the help of this video I slowly but surely recovered my ability to sleep and eventually regained functionality in my daily life. Thank you Mind Amend.

Any chance we could get this into a 10+ hour black screen video? I will listen to it religiously!

I sleep trained myself to this tone just for naps ❤ it’s so perfect. Most days, I nap for one hour to this tone. I pair this video with reading a book and I fall sleep so quickly. I also wake up at the end perfectly on schedule (most of the time lol). ❤

This was so great! I had such a good rest with this. The only thing that would add a cherry on top of this would be if I had 30 extra minutes of this (but that's just because I like getting a full single 90mins sleep cycle in a nap so I don't wake up disoriented). It's super specific but if you create another version for 90mins I would use that every day :D

Best/most repeatable hour of content on RUclips? Quite possibly. So incredibly underutilized with only 38k views. Laughable lol.

This is by far the BEST background sound/music, and I've listened to a LOT of sleep sounds/music. Its like an ambiguous lullaby. Is there a full sleep cycle with this background?
Also I've come across your 8 hour sleep cycle isochronic tones (only tones), is there a 7 hour version?

No headphones required? Then this isn’t really binaural beats. Those - including the Theta range beats - require headphones.

    • @MindAmend
      @MindAmend  2 года назад +25

You're correct, this isn't binaural beats. I've used isochronic tones here which work differently to binaural beats and they don't require headphones. If you're new to the concept of isochronic tones, I have written an article that you might find helpful. Here's a link to the section which explains the difference between binaural beats and isochronic tones: www.mindamend.com/brainwave-entrainment/isochronic-tones/#binauralbeats.
