There are Kala u-Bass strings with Nickel or Steel Wound strings for that other bass you are not even looking at (Nickel with Steel Core Solid Body U•BASS Round Wound or Stainless Steel Solid Body U•BASS Flat Wound) , just saying, maybe, I haven't try them yet, but maybe...
