Had to check the SHOW MORE above to make sure I heard the name correctly on the first one in the video. It sounded suspiciously like a well-known anime character! LOL
Please please please! Make versions of these tents in green sand or camo materials No bright colors! then I will buy one! That's why I may purchase a snugpak cave 4 or scorpion 3 Some folks may even want black white gray snow camo. Just an ideaa.
@@gh8cw It's to stand out in case the person using it is in need of rescue. In war of course they don't want to be seen so they use camouflage. When O'l Jerry goes hiking in the National park and needs rescue, his neon blue tent will stick out like a sore thumb so the searchers can easily spot it through trees or from the air.
YOU CAN'T BEAT HILLEBERG ! ! ! There are many now successfully competing with Hilleberg , But for security , and peace of mind , Most Especially in a FOUR SEASON TENT , HILLEBERG STANDS ALONE .
@@thebeardedgorilla8596 for real! I understand why they make them but not everyone wants to be spotted when you want peace and quiet, time for self. I hope some manufacturers see this and step their game up. Have a happy new year
@@conedprepper ive been looking at the litefighter tent. Camo and looks to be pretty well made. Has a 4 season conversion and the reviews have been great. I think the weight of it is comparable to these as well.
Any insight on condensation build-up with these tents? I dont have any experience with winter alpine camping, but from what ive read these tents build up condensation easly, but a little condensation is hard to avoid🤔thoughts?
I'll stick with my Kifaru Tut floorless tipi for all season hiking and camping. Unlike anything shown here, the Tut has a stovejack that allows you to use a titanium wood stove for cooking and staying warm.
PF-Bereg are very good 4 season tents made in Russia, so you don’t hear that much about them. True 2-layer, 4 season tents, and you can Hot tent with them as well.
These tents seem badass for badass camping on mountains. But, I’ve camped outside of a tent on a -10 degree night, and it was great aside from waking up in the morning buried in snow😂 I have to find one of these 4 seasons with the option to just go full mesh mode on those few cold, low altitude nights that are just fun to stargaze on with a badass sleeping bag👍✌️ I’m sure the snow will melt or something, and I’ll wake up soaked.. but hey, I’m new to all this winter camping stuff, so figuring it out is half the fun👍😂🐝 Edit- do they make 4 season triple wall tents? With a mesh wall for the morons like me?

Nice video and very informative and very entertaining and very satisfaction more videos.
Hilleberg and Black Diamond makes the best 4 season tents. I also like North Face all season models for mountaineering.
My Hilleberg Tarra took 80+ mph winds for hours last year in Torres del Paine without even flinching. Sounded like a freight train passing by.

totally agree.....i want to fade into the scenery not stick out like a sore thumb
Agree 100%. Idk why everything has to be neon colored.

The second guy sounds like a fourth grader that forgot his own presentation and is now half-ass stuck with trying to low-key read it off 😂
How come they don't make tents in camo! Not everyone want Brite colors.
Agree about stealth colors... camo, or arctic white.
If I want to be visible...I will bring flares.
@@h2hcamey I would love a stealth tent, omg! the possibility
Totally agree... I hate those loud bright colors

$1,000 + and so on! hahaha
At 2:10 my escape hatch opens with my knife.
hahaha I thought the exact same thing.
Will someone please explain why it’s called guy out? That just sounds so stupid to me?
Funny the most poplar mountaineering as shown in Everest exp. etc. is the north face ve-25. Yet it’s not in your top 5. 🤣🤣🤣
the VE 25 is unavailable 😢
The HMG dyneema ultamid . A pyramid tent has a lot going for it... easy to set up, very good in winds. 530g weight...
Thank you sharing this video of 4 season tent! 💯
Anyone know anything about the Hodlex tent? Probably a three season tent though.
Isn't the Tenshi discontinued from Nemo?
👍😎🍺🍩🔧
What’s wrong with heliport tents?

What is the pack weight of the stove and tipi, do you know? I am a Kifaru fan for sure
@@thebeardedgorilla8596 The Tut weight is about 6.2 pounds with a tipi pole. The titanium wood stove is about 2 pounds. Kifaru no longer sells the Tut
@@ElkArrow ok thanks. Ive watched some hot tent camping on other channels and looks awesome. Enjoy yours bud

The main thing i think about is keeping the water out when it rains.

No, but if the weather is nice bring your summer tent.
