I like to PvP, and PvE on ARK Ascended. Usually wearing an Exo Suit nowadays. Unlocking it is easy with no cheats needed anymore, and usually on a server, official or unofficial, sometimes for 100 days. Single Player is great though, certainly with a guide for any platform be it switch, xbox, ps4, ps5, pc, steam, epic, it's great. Sometimes play MTS, and usually post patch/update. But a survival game needs some community news and that's what I do, giving you the latest on events, small tribes, usually covering all maps from Island to Fjordur. And one day. ARK 2!

Honestly this would be pretty op for cave raiding if you want to sprint into turrets with that ability
Fasolasuchus
Its bite increases the damage a creature receives (caps at 25% dmg increase)
Its tail whip seems to stun or terrify creatures (golems stopped attacking me and stood still, Rexes would run away)
While burrowed, standing still long enough allows the creature to fully burrow turning you into a sand/dirt/snow mound
Your tail whip becomes an immobilizing sandstorm which holds the creature in place (largest creature I've trapped is a Giga)
Hiting your bite button during the sandstorm will cause it to slowly devour the creature dealing 50% of the creatures remaining hp as dmg
Both sandstorms force flyers to land
Additionally, Faso is an effienct swimmer
I believe its summon code is Fasol or Fasola for those that dont want to find it
They can be found around the outskirts of the map where the ocean would be, and sometimes on the edge of the open dunes (like around the Wyvern trenches and stuff)
Tail whip causes the attacked creature to lose 25% armor for quite a long period of time. During the armor loss, the affected creature glows green and it takes a while to restore the armor to 100%. I’ve tried attacking one and was a close call defeating the very low level Faso with a high level imprinted Argy.
@@DennyMK007 The one thing I don't understand is why the tail whip chases off animals. Is it a fear? Stun? Maybe it's a disarm?
@@hyporaptor1280 Don’t know. Probably it’s in the dossier, but I haven’t checked it yet.
@@hyporaptor1280 it flings rocks at the opponents eyes causing it to be blind and panic for a certain period of time.
TAMING PSA TO MAKE IT MUCH EASIER!!
The *TYPE* of rock also plays a big role in how much torpor is dealt per crash! Especially at the higher levels, even large regular rocks will give VERY little torpor. Finding Salt rocks or Metal rocks give DRAMATICALLY more torp--for a lv140 Fasola a single metal node gave about the same torpor yield as 30-40 normal rocks!

Yeah I did that and had a friend scout ahead and mark salt deposits. Bring plenty of grenades and stay in the dunes otherwise the terrain is too difficult and it will buck you off

Yeah except the acid bite increases if you keep biting the target.
The bite doesn't force flyers to land, I was carrying a wild one around while it was chewing on my Rhynio. The sandstorm does force landing though

From watching your video seems to me the taming speed/torpor rate is increased by how MANY rocks you hit in a COMBO. If you have a line or batch or breakable rocks/minerals and steer straight into them getting as many as fast as you can it goes up much higher/faster.
Is it just me is that the Fasolasuchus kinda remind me of the ark additions concavenator?
(I guess its because of the taming process relating to dynamite and being sand sharks)
that taming while looks fun but is brutal how much you need especially with trees not counting a crying shame they dident bring craftable structure that could be used for the taming like types of boulders and the cooldowns on the abilitys is so long for what it does ....... but still love how goofy they look.

Turn off menu transitions
Best to hit as far as I can tell are metal nodes each do like 500 torpor then salt and bones haven't tried sulfur or anything else special just those and stones

Don't worry some mods are doing it for us, paleo ark for example
It has 200 dinos how do you expect them to make all dinos good? If you do that, by the time you tlc all 200 dinos the newer dinos will all be seen is less useful then we are back where we started.

I wasted so much time trying to tame one of these, it's bugged and definitely not worth the hassle. It doesn't matter how many or what kind of rocks I get it to run into, it never builds any torpor. I even found one near some metal nodes, the nodes did 0 torpor. On the bright side I've encountered very few bugs on Scorched Earth, but the ones I have run into have been infuriating.

You don't have to waste a single resource to knock it out. No traps, no darts, nothing. It's balanced.
@@Pugnut21 its not balanced if it takes a solid 20 mins to tame a high level id much rather waste resources then get frustrated while doing the tame

@@lizardjoe4224 fasola is a Loricatan, aka related to stuff like Postosuchus and Prestosuchus. Crocodylomorpha is included in that clade, but its more like theyre distant cousins

Crashes when I try load the island and when I load scorched can't pick up anything or use the triangle button to drink or anything like that all I can do is run around and punch things

Another forgotten tame imo. I don’t see the use or them being very powerful compared to the OG creatures.
Or maybe sometimes some people want to tame for the sake of taming, not everything needs a use *cough* dodo *cough*

I immobilized and sunk a carbo with ascendant saddle 56 armor and it did 45k damage and continues until stamina runs out, but does less and less dmg.
@@b-rett614 it's pretty fast underground travel, it is the ultimate flint harvester, and its various abilities revolve around immobilizing and making enemies more vulnerable. So in a pvp setting, it makes for a great partner to someone using a standard powerhouse mount.
They can also function as underground, invisible storage units. A lot like reaper kings (but no rock drakes to track them).
So they very much have their uses. They don't reshape the pve meta, but they're great great swimmers too. So by sand, or water, they're speedsters.

DO NOT BUY scorched earth crashes every time upon loading even without mods
Update scorched earth update has completely broken the game unable to load island or any modded maps, crashes while loading, why on earth are you promoting such a broken game making it look great whilst in reality wasting people’s time and money
Now having reinstall my game losing all saved progress because of wildcard releasing a broken game, cyberpunk 2077 all over again, actually, it’s worse than that
