If you manage to come up from nothing, you're not given your new seat of power out of meritocracy. You're given it because you killed some cracked wizard and half his army and nobody else wants to find out if you could do it again.

tip: EK2 in every era has one cultural research that allows for larger and larger conquest casus belli, for example the starting one (Early Interregnum) has conquer duchy, the next (Late Interregnum) has conquer kingdom, and the last (Unification Wars) has conquer empire. edit: I might be wrong with conquer duchy since I didnt check in a few days.
hey simo, when you get valuable hostages but you don't actually need them to enforce demands and win the war one thing you can do is ransom them for money, i always do that in my wars it's really good in the early game when don't have much money and you're attacking small territories so you can quickly get to 100% warscore by winning battles and sieging
The Developers of this mod are amazing! I highly recommend joining their Discord. People in the community are also making so many submods, one of them I am following is working on the ESO Timeline. I know there already is one made; I guess that person was banned permanently, and the Developers already are planning on implementing the ESO Timeline some time soon-ish, so they're helping this guy in the Community out with stuff. They said they will be implementing it when they do a rework of certain areas. Also they love when the Community shares Coat of Arms & Ruler DNA's, they will also implement them in when they do updates on the mods and stuff.

The Argonians of Black Marsh, famously, are one of the few groups of people that were not only able to drive the Deadra back into their portals but also take the fight back into the Deadlands, Mehrune's personal realm of Oblivion. It's one of the few benefits of being magically linked to the Hist... If the Hist is in danger, it will empower the Argonians. Argonian supremacy ftw!
I recently got this mod and was playing a Goblin Dynasty in northern Cyrodil and eventually overtook both Nibenay and the Colovian Estates. It was really hard because my Malakath Religion kept pissing off the nearby kingdoms like Hlallu and Redoran and Bruma, and I got myself wrapped up in a few house fueds and a good half of my family ended up assassinated. It took an extremely long time to get a Kingdom, ended up getting Cheydenhal at first but Hlallu kept expanding west and bumping into me, so I also went further west and got Bruma after a few generations. It was really fun, but EXTREMELY difficult at first.
Had lots of fun with this mod, I started as a 100-stats man with tsaescence IV on an island next to Yokuda, then slowly conquered all the islands and then High Rock, Hammerfell, and Anvil, then got bored.
This is actually brilliant. What a great concept for a mod, it is remarkable that Bethesda hasn't done many little projects like this on the side themselves in between games. Here's hoping for Total War Morrowind.

I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on some frost salts while whipping my slaves. I can whip 1000 now. After I remove the frost salts I use a Falmer blood elixir. In the shower I use a water activated scrib jelly cleanser, then a heather ash yam body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating muck scrub. Then I apply a green lichen hackle-lo facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no sujamma, because sujamma dries your face out and makes you look older. Then meteor slime, then an anti-aging grahl eyeball balm followed by a final meadow rye protective lotion. There is an idea of a Sendar Telmon; some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me: only an entity, something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable... I simply am not there.

Absolutely love the roleplaying in CK3. In my newest playthrough I play as a countess which wants to sit on the english throne through clever marriages, lots of fucking and scheming.
House Hlaalu was the most accepting of foreigners compared to Redoran and Telvani. Lorewise they were the first to go, but it is correct they were all just oligarchs and bureaucrats who were vying for additional power.
Soo i'm actually waiting for more ck3 episodes. Maybe it's time for touching like, guardians of azeroth? It came out some time ago and i think you can have a neat time playing it.
The Hlaalu aren't the "backstabbing, plotting house". All of the Great Houses are backstabbing and plotting, intrigue is an integral part of Dunmer culture. What the Hlaalu are is mainly merchants, with a a dip into criminal activities. Also, great video as always Simo.
