I yearn for the day my painting goes as smoothly as yours. I always get backflow or my paint sputters no matter how much I clean my brush and use the proper thinner.
Always good! The green is 100x’s better than the lime green I picked. Awesome you gave a shoutout to Burbanks House of Hobby. I never been there in my life. I live in Fresno and that place has been my go to for paints since my Hobbytown just wants to sell RC’s while gunpla and Star Wars shelf’s are empty. I do have a thought as well and hopefully flame is listening. Make the seam lines less on models like Devastator or make them be part of the model for example G1 Optimus and Bumblebee. So far those two are the best and the seekers. Thanks for sharing. Roll out!
Devestator is the best model kit they’ve made yet. I like their metal figures better. But the poses you can pull off with this devy is better then almost all my gundam figures I own. Which is not what I’m used to saying. I love that it’s big enough to look imposing also.
I honestly like this model line for being the affordable alternative to most third party figures licensed or otherwise, perhaps not AS affordable or high quality as Gunpla, but it hits the mark. Unfortunately it seems like Flame Toys may be moving away from models, being as their Optimus Primal design is being released under the Furai "Action" banner rather than Furai Model.
Their models are great and they are still putting them out. But their diecast action figures are the big ticket items. Some of the best figures you can buy. Definitely have to shell out the big bucks for them though.
@@kyllerkill 1 - Doesn't really matter how good they are if they're unaffordable to a schmoe like me. 2 - I find significant metal content in figures to be a deterrent rather than a selling point. I'm already hearing stories of how their Kuro Kara Kuri figures are becoming too loose to pose. 3 - They aren't so much putting out new models now as the models they have planned already are still going and those plans appear to be near the end. I'm willing to say I'm wrong IF something changes in future, but currently their latest announcements all point toward figures being their sole focus.
This is a wonderful vid , you have a great tool kit and skill to back it all up. Oh what the hell kind of brush are you using on interior chest piece @13:07 ????
Love the paint jobs. Looking at doing the same. I do have a quick question. When you pre-shaded Devastator, was it a mix of Sea Blue and Black? Or was it separate for different parts?
Have you ever found a way to put a battery box into the kits without having the wires hanging out of the rear? It would be cool if you could. Or are the batteries too big to put it into the kits?

@@OtakuBuilder your welcome and I would love to get some tips and skills from watching you paint!
What airbrush do you use? And also awesome vid
I think he uses a mr hobby procon. Not sure of the size.
Have you ever found a way to put a battery box into the kits without having the wires hanging out of the rear? It would be cool if you could. Or are the batteries too big to put it into the kits?
I am still waiting for their version of windblade
I wonder if they have any model kits that can actually transform
Hasbro has an extremely strict "NO TRANSFORMATION" policy for licensed products... so no.
The do have a diecast lion that doesn’t transform coming out. But it does combine with their Star saber.
Where did you order the kits from
What does the mr super uv cut flat do?
It’s a top coat to protect the paint from chips and scratches.
And it protects from color fading/yellowing.
What is that thin stiff brush you use called? :o
Master don't say anythings !
Where do I get this I want to try
I've searched and searched for descent sized models online, everything is tiny.
