Great review. I currently ride an ebike religiously and love it. I REALLY want an e-motorcycle, but I still need to get a license. I have looked at a few brands but this seems to be a reliable one. I live alone and a very minimalist lifestyle so I want to get something like this one day.
Awesome looking piece of kit - and arriving at UK dealers soon, I believe! Curious to know if I can get one on salary sacrifice with the same tax breaks as an EV car… 🤔
Livewire only charges you tax and license depending on your state, a small set up fee and that’s all, no hidden fees, great to deal with them and the bike is worth every penny, electronics are unmatched.
It’s a beautiful bike ❤ Do you think a 5 foot 6 inch 150 lbs guy would have any issues flat footing it ? Also, does anyone know what country it’s made in ? Thanks, Good Luck & Enjoy 😎
Bike is a bit tall but you can always lean to one side, it does not look took in the pics but it is because of the tires. They are made here in the USA but they also ship all over.
How much is insurance for you? I’m in LA considering getting back into bikes and was looking at the Del Mar as well. It was between this or a energica ego. Since I have a Tesla I think the ev bike would be a great addition.
Not bad if you plan it and find a working charger, 20min and you are good to go. 100 miles is you take it easy and about 70 if you push it. Not bad for my commute.
@hlagunes Thank you. I don't trust manufacturer range/speed projections. Real tests from real people are still subjective, but I can better manage my expectations.
Yeah as both a zero owner, greenger g3, surron and multiple gas bikes they all have their place. The electric torque, ease of maintenance and no gears is great but so is being able able extend your range anywhere with a 2 minute fill up of gas, the incredible sound gas bikes can make and rider engagement of having gears. My Delmar is being shipped this week and although I'm excited about it 80 miles of real world range and 2 hour charge time sucks, not to mention there are some amazing gas bikes out there for 16 grand.
If the tech gets to the point where the range increases to about 150 miles with 20-30 minute charge time. I'd buy an electric bike. I'd also like for it to have gears. I think there is an electric bike out there that has gears, but I just can't remember the name of it yet.
Haha, it depends where you are at in life, for me it’s a no brained, I save so much in gas commuting to work and the fun factor is priceless, I also have other gas bikes for long range, bike is amazing, to each their own
Thx for putting this out for those of us that were curious about the S2 Del Mar ⚡️🏍
Great review.

263 fukin Nw of Torque !!!!! And less than 200 kg !!!! AMAZING !!!
294 NM, yes people has no idea of how much power that is.
It's like a bullet ❤❤❤
Whats your range? Highway, city, and combination?
100 street, highway about 65 if you push it hard, combined about 70
@@hlagunes that's pretty bad

For me it was $350 for the year but I been riding for over 20 years, I noticed electric bikes are a lot less to insure so shop around
@@hlagunes $350 per month or for the entire year? That’s cheap if it’s for the year for sure.
@@Gary_Walker90 yes, full 12mts policy

Сколько стоит этот электромотоцикл ?
👍
Wheel sizes are unfortunate on this bike: so little tire selection, and none of it good... it is practically a proprietary tire.
Same issue with my ftr1200s. Basically I can get one Avon tire or Bridgestone.
Really ?
this is quiet than live wire one.
Yes, a lot quiet. Still get your blood pumping.
Expensive Piece of CRAP!!!!
