But Still One must spend time thinking what to do, not go crazy about it but get some clarity then decide. Not just decide in compulsion. Maybe travel, explore, meditate, be with nature, whatever.

@@ahatcho138 I think you have to try a few things and pay attention to yourself. Like what has worked for you in the past, what are your strengths, what are your likes, what are your motivations (different folks have different motivation like following curiosity, money, global experience, etc.)

First thing is don’t compare professions . Do what you like whether small or big.
When it comes to career, get away from what your parents, teachers, colleges, universities want you to do. By following just what you're told to do without questioning, you'll find success in life, but nothing more. Aim to achieve that sort of success where you'll never regret even a single day with what you're doing. Whether you set up an establishment for yourself, or work somewhere, it has to be exactly what you want, or at least, what you really want to do. Do not settle for anything lesser than that. Throughout all times, people have just been mimicking their benchmates and neighbours and the whole society is filled with repetitions and mimics. Don't be this. Do not ask someone else what to do with your life, this must be something which must be an inner understanding. Take time off in the woods, sit and stare at the elements. Sit and stare at them for long enough until it really reveals to you what is your real drive, temperament and future. If that's not done, you'll just get moulded by the society. And once you get moulded strong enough, you'll become a mould for your peers and offsprings as well. Get away from this. The human society can be unconsciously living its life. But to become conscious and take charge of your life in a joyful, content and a really bright way is in your hands. No one can help you on this but yourself.

I'm in 12th. When I was in 10th I did lack the depth of clarity to sit with myself and think through. Even taking a 2 hours off feels like a guilt trip. I live with my parents. Obviously I realise I just went with what came along and yes it was necessary and out of all the choices, I chose what served me best intellectually. Now I really want to be a 100% true with my gifts and life. The dedication and concentration did develop me as a mind . Now I feel it's time to take the higher leap. Hopefully the universe guides me through. Earlier I thought it was escapism and romanticism to avoid labour. Truth is I am doing all of that. With an open heart. But now my whole heart says. Ab sach janle. 10 years from now I see myself being who i am lately i.e. joyful and dedicated. But not doing what I am doing. I wanted to prove soemthing to myself. And overtime, I did. Which would make sense only to me. Now , I just want to be honest.

At the end what Sadhguru said is interesting: "if you're a fool, you will do what you don't want; if you're intelligent you will do what you want; if you're genius you will do whatever is needed (or is appearing at this moment) with joy and devotion."
So conclusion is, if I want to be genius I should do whatever life situation asks me to do without resistance, with acceptance and with involvement in the process, because my happiness doesn't depend on what I do or don't, my happiness is primary to anything in life.
I dont know in what path I am good in....but I really want to come up in life....
We need to have more apprenticeships to allow children check their competence

If you can't find what you want to do, find what needs to be done. He said, "If you really want to be a genius in your life, you will do whatever is needed with absolute joy and involvement." Sometimes I feel like you have to follow what most people do especially school because you can't get wrong by choosing it. Second, if choosing career/job is the problem, try to at least be competitive about it. Choose a harder, more competitive degree over an easier one unless you have a pretty good reason not to. If you really can't choose one thing, try imagining yourself in both situations years from now, making sure that you'll never regret a day working on your degree. And lastly, just try. You'll find out more once you're there.
I once read a comment saying something like "if you want to make sure if you are unhappy about your job, look at your seniors and observe yourself in their shoes."
Saying all that still can't decide for my own. 😔
Another element that triggers fear, concerns, and/or anxiety is the availability of choices.
The key point for me is to ask yourself can you be devoted to it and and feel fulfilled after 25 years if yes then do it.

I am 25yrs old and I try many things because my friends do that's stuff.....I thought I will be happy if I got job in that field but it's doesn't excite me ......i tell u with my experience that You should do whatever you are loved to do either small profession or big ..... don't think that's what my friends family members will say ....at the end if anyone genuinely loves u they want to see u happy ....so do something that's excite your everyday... don't run ur Life according to your peers
But bro i think what should i do i am very much confused about what should i do i completed my Btech in civil and in civil engineering no jobs are there and other i think to go in IT sector because my friend are earning 5Lpa.
@@jaybamaniya6571 bro are you in college or you finished your btech civil engineering honestly I would suggest try IT first for like 2 years if you're okay doing it then stay in that field because you can make good amount of money and if after working 2 years you hate your job then try for gate , cat ,upsc ese , upsc cse , ssc cgl, and state pcs and other government exam or you can try for a job in your core civil branch .

Money only gets you so far, it’s just supposed to be used as a tool and people forget that sometimes. You’d be surprised at how little money you can actually live off of. I’ve lived the same lifestyle even if I get raises because I am avoiding lifestyle inflation. It’s okay to want nice things but ask yourself, “why do I want this? Is it for me or is it to impress others?” I check my ego frequently. Your ego will only bring you depression of why you’re not good enough. We only get ONE life.
Believe yourself and you just do it...don't ask question...because nobody is actually stoping us for doing anything

I have a diploma in animation but I feel so lost after two years of course. Everytime I jump on my computer to work on 3D modeling, I feel like there's a bigger calling for me. Like God telling me that's not my actual dream / career. There's other videos I've watched about people who have tried out different careers and it didn't work out for them then they move on and find their real career. I feel like my gift is helping others , educating and giving to the helpless, poor, homeless and so on. what do you do for joy without getting paid? what would you do if you had to pick a career right now? you must love something just maybe it is something unconventional so your scared .
You could start trying out different jobs, even volunteer, or go to an event to see and feel what it’s like for yourself. That’s what I’m trying to do now with the same mental situation as you. Interesting also is what he said at the end that “...geniuses will do what is needed with joy and involvement.” Somehow you could also do a job that a lot of people need so you’ll feel good knowing you’re helping people.

I just passed my board exam and want to be an artist but they tell me art is just good for hobbies, it should not be taken as a career option and that could get a better job and still do art in the spare time. Even though I know I should not listen to others, even though I know I should do whatever I really want to do, even though I know how many people have have faced problems listening to people, somewhere I have this doubt what if I fail, what if what they say is real, what if I have to suffer despite being good at studies, what if I regret not listening to them, what if it's too late till I realise? I also doubt whether I am actually passionate about my hobby or not? Will I get bored of it by the time passes?
If you are passionate to learn and explore deeply in artist as a career , then you can . It doesn't matter what the others are suggesting to you. Look at your own interest. And if you are confused to make career as a artist then you should take time and exploring more about as a artist on RUclips, articles etc.

@Hey! It's NiKhiL hey buddy what are you doing now bsc or btech . Actually you can go for MBA after your graduation which has commerce background and MBA from good college can give good placement also . Like a relative of mine is doing MBA from bhu and average package there is 9 lpa.

I completed my 12th standard in 2021. I chose Bcom honours but did not feel good about it. Now I am dropping out of Bcom honours and preparing for business management studies(bms). But I'm not devoted to it ik. I am really struggling to find my devotion/purpose/passion whatever you may call it. I feel totally messed up and kind of depressed all the time. If anyone can help, I would be really grateful.❤️

I've been having this state of mind since I started my career (after college). I have had little opportunities to work in my chosen field, I've had lots of sacrifices and people telling me what to do because they think I'm stagnant because I really can't find it in my heart to get a job that is not inclined to my heart and passion. I really love to work in mental health field. It's a struggle even until now to get a stable job in this area esp my country has little to offer. Someday, soon, I'll get to do what I love as my job

That's it... I'm afraid of the mere thought of being devoted to just one thing for like 30 years...
You try IAS.You will sometime be collector, then sometimes director of different different public sector enterprises...it will be different after each promotion...You look into that and decide...There may be other options also...
So the question then is not what I like to do but rather "how" can I learn to be devoted to "whatever" is needed to be done.
This means happiness does not depend on us doing anything in particular as long as we can be devoted to whatever we do?

What I see is, if you are clear and confident about a path you see yourself in you should do whatever to achieve that but if you can't see that yet. Keep exploring.
But every moment one's personality is changing,how can one be certain of what his/her passion is at moment will cease to change in the next 25 years?
I think that's why you keep learning. I have troubles with that too. I too can't say what I will be forever but i am trying to convince myself that what I want to be doing is one by one. I should just focus on my present and what is given to me. To make the best out of it but not too much of a drastic step like i can't reason myself to apply for med school. I just don't know if I can give my 100 percent to it so I am seeking something different and see from there.
