Ranked is supposed to be hyper competetive and since before plat you can't really derank, it's where the game actually starts. If cimo wants to actually climb, he has to find a way to consistently beat tiered decks or we're back to surrendering and farming master packs of bricking opponents or disconnects which is super unfun to do and watch
I'm getting the same experience doing the masochist challenge as soon as I made it to Gold. Non-stop Swordsouls + Snake Eyes + Circular nonsense. All it is, is official custom cards with a trillion effects and no downsides. I only get to play like 2 out of 10 duels.
I'm doing this too, today i went up to platinum....didn't really count win-loss ratio but maybe it's still 2,5-1 to losses.....a lot of swordsoul and snake eyes for me too

Can't stand this Tier 0 nonsense. I really wish more decks were like the Blue-Eyes or Swordsoul we see in this video, where it can be quite strong, but the decks have clear weaknesses. Not just soul crushingly powerful to the point where the game can be practically decided on the draw step, and you wonder why you even showed up in the first place.

Like, you break through all of that, and one lucky draw brings it all back out and kills you. Decks like that shouldn't also have insane resilience and the ability to just go all out with one card.

ahh the rare double misplay by forgetting to read you card and attack brazenly with a monster that weak you scared them into believe you had something up yourselves and decided to take precautions to prevent their monster destruction. unfortunately, they just misread the situation and you just made a poor play so both sides ended up negging from the situation.
Speaking of the Intro talking about winning by wasting time. I actually heard the most toxic thing when playing Magic the Gathering arena. There was an idea going around that turning on responses even when you couldn't do anything and purposefully wait a bit to pass priority was a skill. You so if you do that the opponent would never know if you actually had activations you could use in response. So stalling was actually just a thing good players do :) I hated MTGA so much

idk if at this point Cimo has enough cards of any archetype (dragunity, Raidraptors, etc) to play an inconsistent version of those decks. Maybe even combine archetypes, that would be so cool
It would have been very impressive if Alex beat Eldlich considering that Eldich is essentially a deck that is designed to clap any deck that doesn’t have an archetype core.
Yeah some decks are sooo much easier to beat than others for masochist like kash is relatively easy if you open removal you have a shot. But a deck like eldlitch you need a way to get over 3k consistently and that's just hard with the backdrow. Stun is super easy as well as their traps don't matter as much as eldlichs against masochist and they lack the big bodies Horus is absolutely awful to play against tho with their free level 8s
The win-win solution to the slow-playing bot problem is that Konami should have those in place to "pity" the ranked hell players and raise engagement, and clamp down on the bots set up by players. But we know that isn't going to happen.

I 100% report the bots I'm here to play Yugioh not get handed free wins while having to wait for the intentionally added delay that is probably just barely small enough to not get hit for slow play to every action. I hate queuing up with a nice new deck wanting to try it out only to get a bot that puts up even less of a fight than a Solo mode bot.

Japan locals attendance down nearly 60% because people can't play their archetype the way they want to be, not about the speed not about stuff like that, let people do what they want to do. If konami listen to people like you, yugioh will straight up dies in Japan. Archetypal system is the main point of yugioh, and the game isn't made to be drafted like this, unless it's a specific box made for draft which is only released in English speaking countries, because no one wants to buy it in asia.

If you have the field spell (which you probably have since poplar), you can make an I:P, a hard summoned 4 material appo and have more follow up to the next turn. and if you set Ash in the trap/spell zone, you can have enough material to make anything, because re-summoning with the field spell can search another poplar. This deck is crazy resource wise. If you hard summon a link 4 using flamberge, poplar, ash and another monster, you'll still have 3 material in the field. And 5 by the next turn if you can out Ash back. It's bonkers
You need to find a way to beat tiered decks consistently without them bricking to death. Right now youre literally only winning agsinst bots, casual anime fans or people going neg 5 because theyre just that bad. In Rookie to Gold youre not really deranking which is why you "climb", but plat and above you actually need to winstreak to climb. You can not rely on people bricking or bots anymore and you will play against SnakevEye, SHS,Mannadium Labrynth or Kashtira every game. If you auto conceade against those, there is no point of continuing this challenge because farming bots or beating little mirror force blue eyes timmy is getting old really fast.
Please don't just surrender and let your opponent kill you, you know how hard it is to finish the dailies sometimes? Those snake eyes players are in gold because they are on smurf account trying or practicing snake eyes, please do them a favor to just let them destroy your cards etc if you are going to lose anyway.

If destroying/inflicting damage is the problem, then they could build cheap decks that can self-destroy too. The only problematic missions are the summon missions that you don't build your deck for it (ritual for example). You're basically telling us to waste our time for the sake of respecting their time. That's nonsense.
