When I first started my own masochist deck. The only "meta" deck I could really beat was runick since I pulled a yajiro invader. And if I got that on the field they just could not summon any extra deck cards and could not mill me out in time.
At 25:40 when he says "You absolute moron!" then he himself ends up losing being that moron was the most satisfying thing for me. Its funny when someone acts like a know it all but makes such a stupid mistake and eats his own words like he's calling himself the moron lol. Some yugitubers do this quite abit so its so enjoyable when it happens but Cimo doesn't do it as much as others who do it almost every single duel or make excuses.
That Barrier Statue is easily the best card he's ever pulled from a Legacy Pack.

Cimo i gotta be honest.
We enjoy the fact that you have a themed deck more than anything.
It really gives this challenge a good storyline and identity.
You may struggle more than most masochist players when it comes to card pulls and duels, but when you do win its the best and purest form of Yugioh.
I can’t wait to see you hit diamond/master with the Bugs lol
This is the best mode and master Duel should add this as a format.
I know that youtube vids are behind but I hope you added Gadarla to your deck since it's a searchable Kaiju with resonance insect.
The Averice is such a shame given the current decklist but it's awesome in the context of eventually moving forward when faster lists can finally be made.

@@MrMovieMaker116 Blast says "Destroy one monster your opponent controls with the highest ATK (your choice if tied)." Vennominon has the highest attack so no matter when Cimo activated Blast, it would always have destroyed Vennominon.

The correct card to banish with Ogre in that Madolche game was most likely Chateau. Remember, it's usually a 1 of.

And same with Chimera: he should've banished Polymerization. He's always so focused on what they're gonna draw when in fact they're just going to shuffle their deck

Avarice goes incredibly hard in Sky Strikers, but I feel like it’s not well suited to most decks, let alone masochist decks.

ALEX! The dolphin is a quick effect, it needs to be chained to the activation of the water monster’s effect. It’s exactly the same as cards like Ash Blossom or the Paleos.
It has nothing to do with “when effects missing the timing”. You seem to of blame that a lot but have no idea what “missing the timing” actually is.

@@lemlem35It is bad though, you rarely get to activate Water's effect and chain it directly in a favorable position. It still has *a* chance to summon itself, but it's slim.
28:40 It’s a Quick Effect, so it works like Paleos where you have to chain it to the water effect, and if your opponent chains to the effect, you can’t use the minairuka.
That ogdoadic duel reminds me of the time i saw someone use the endymion cards to get venominagas alt win condition.

That nightmell card definitely has some interesting potential with the extra deck portion of the card cimo didn’t read out loud. He might be able to cheese out some really stupid extra deck card he couldn’t otherwise summon.
Gadarla is a great pull! Finally another target for resonance that's also really useful when needed

Blast affects the monster with the highest ATK, not the one attacking.
And even if it did hit Goddess, Goddess is immune to all non-targeting activated effects.

I’m not totally sure as I don’t watch the live streams, but in this video he dueled against someone playing Kaiser Colosseum, and that card was banned on the July 10th ban list, so this video was recorded at least 6+ weeks ago.

Again Cimo 25:45. You can do both. In the situation you couldn't because Destiny's neg effect, but you must ALWAYS go Blast Cl1, Magic Cylinder Cl2 because Both have the same activation condition, MC though must negate the attack to burn
Minairuka couldn't activate because it's a quick effect that has to chain directly to the monster... It has nothing to do with missing the timing

56:50 - Blizzard is worth considering as a way to protect your backrow from Harpie's and Lighting Storm. Not only does it protect them for a turn but most people don't know how Blizzard works so they'll just activate it again not knowing that it'll get negated and sent to the GY.
58:46 - I'm honestly shocked you encountered one of these bots. Ever since I created a dedicated anti-Manipulator OTK deck, learned how to counter it even when *NOT* using dedicated counter cards, and laid the smackdown on them, I haven't seen even *ONE* of those bots in *WEEKS* in Gold/Plat.

That game against Ogdoadic was 100% winnable. The order was Blast Aron, take the Goddess attack, then Magic Cylinder on the king.

I’m surprised nobody created a challenge where you get 10 packs per win, but the goal would be to try and get to the top of the rank list with only cards pulled from the packs, the 10 packs make it realistically achievable where the 1 pack would take a significant pretty much impossible amount of time

sorry, this made me angry, but he should have chained dinomischus at 34:24. He needs the field spell to activate the quick spells from hand and since the effect negation had not resolved yet, he could not have chained one to summon a monster (because of barrier statue)

Blast can only target the monster with the highest attack so he couldn’t target anything but the 5k

@@Bob12649 I put every name of the packs on a excel spreadsheet, roll a random number from 1 to 101 and buy from whichever pack it lands
After more than 10 losses I bought packs until every card was playable, cause I pulled 7 out of 20 cards that read "do nothing"

I got some very specific support which made 40% of my deck umplayable...
I kinda kept buying until at least every card was playable, but besides that, its now on masochist mode

Blizzard is a "cute" card, it's a quickplay that "negates" a spell for a turn. The Cali Effect shilled this card back then.
Against the Madolche player I would IDP the Glassoufle that Hootcake was targeting. Hootcake does not resolve and you get rid of Teacher and Choco a la Mode.

That’s not ironic, and that isn’t how Blast works. There’s really nothing he could have done. Cylinder on the big guy would’ve done more damage, but it wouldn’t have helped at all.
1) Blast destroys the monster with the highest attack, so he couldn’t have just chosen to destroy goddess
2) Blast doesn’t target, and goddess is unaffected by non-targeting effects, so it couldn’t have killed her anyway

You should have chained the duster not for anything in the actual game but for after if you look how they give you legacy pack it’s by points and you get points by doing stuff in game like activate traps or spells or summon monsters so the more of that you do the more points you get more points mean more legacy packs you get
