I live in Hardee County me and brother are just two good ol country boys. When we aren’t at Church or work we live in the woods and on the water. My brother is a fishing guide and we have a pen full of hog dogs that will spoil any hunter. I’d like to talk to you about a hog hunt trip to your ranch and in return take you on a guided fishing trip.

I agree with the speaker about condition of dogs , so many people don't know the difference between condition and starving and they open there big mouths and stir up trouble for the industry. Good job men,woman ,and children it's great to see people doing things like this and not in front of TV or video games great job!!
From 9:40 to 10:30 was a damn cool story! That's the type of stuff my Dad used to tell me about growing up with his grandad in central and south Florida. Dad became a city boy by the time I came around in the 80s and Ive always felt like I missed out. My oldest kid is 13 and watching Jak...er; 'Snipe' bust that hog at almost 200 yards almost felt like watching my own kid. My heart welled up. GREAT VID!

The funny thing is people don’t know how much dogs love to work. It makes them happy K9s are a big one that come to mind so happy to go to work.

Been hog doggin before. All hog dogs and catch dogs have that look. Ever see a wrestler. There’s no mistaking that body type for a desk jock. These dogs are athletes of the k9 world and while many get injured regardless of protection measures. Name an athlete that hasn’t done the same. Beautiful and fearless animals. Nothing but admiration for their skills.

I'm in Louisiana. I used to have deer dogs. I hunted alot of timber companies land. Had 14 walker hounds for years. I learned that if you blow a horn before you feed every time that they will brake off a deer they are running if they can hear it. Sometimes you have to blow the horn several times because they have their attention on the deer. While in England I picked up a English fox horn that worked the best. It carried out a long ways.
Always wondered if a boat horn would do. I didn't loose any more dogs using the horn. If they can hear it they will come to you. Before using the horn Sometimes it took days before they came back. I used bedding from the dog crate when lost

my dad taught me how to swim. in the summer when we’d visit my grandparents, he’d push me off the boat without a floaty. First day he roped me in, on the second day I was swimming back and forth no problem at all.

Definitely a difference between a working dog and overweight house dogs. Great hunt and content.
I remember asking my vet what the universal sign for good weight is in short coat breeds for the most part, she responded saying you should be able to feel almost all their ribs but not their spine, and some slightly visible part of the ribcage is excellent. Working dogs for the most part will always be leaner and more muscular and appear to the average pet owner as malnourished. This isnt the case with the general population of dogs in the average household. The sad part is that most pets are incredible over fed if not obese. If these dogs where miss-treated it would be pretty evident by not only temperament but also physical stature. Great vid once again!

Pitbulls love hog hunting and they're phenomenal at it too. That got damn dog owne, is one brave fella, with the way he gets in there right with his dog's. It's great to see a young man in the big game hound world we need youth in our sport . The sport of hounding is under attack in several states Vermont is a big topic at this time . We bear hunt in several states but states you can't run hounds in far out way the one you can . Education is key in our sport people knock it until they try it then most are hooked
