Hello John, This is great to hear. I keep going between Eddie Raymond's and 52Cheetah. Both are good and have their strong points. Thanks so much for being here and leaving the comment. Have a great day.
Hello Eddie, You are welcome. I must admit that your index is currently my favorite index. Since posting the review I have continued to carry the index and put more practice time in and am finding it a real joy to use and I love that I can perform with confidence knowing I have the correct card every time. Thanks for contributing this great index to the magic community.
Hi Jonny, hope you are well mate. Ain't it great when a decent and fair priced product comes onto the market. I really appreciate the way Eddie does business. More power to him. Cheers4now my friend.
Yo Gary, Agreed. I also appreciate that there is not a huge hype campaign behind it and just another magician working to sell something they have created. Hope you are doing well and Cheers to you my friend.
Hey Brad, Hope you are doing well. Thanks I really like the tune as well and thought I would do more of it but then realized it just gets too long for the intro but a great tune. Take care and lets try and get together soon.
Thanks so much Chad for subscribing. I want you to know I really appreciate it and do not take your subscribing for granted. I want to make sure that I am providing good quality reviews that are helpful for the viewer. Please feel free to reach out anytime if you have questions and I look forward to comments. Thanks and wishing you a Happy New Year!
Hey Jay, hope you are doing well. A great question. I usually jazz with the index. I carry it most days in my pocket and then if the moment calls for the use of it then I use it. I would say the things I go to the most is asking a spectator to think of a card and then I do the reveal with having their thought of card in my wallet. And I use The Real Man's wallet the most as I find it easy to load. Sometimes I just pull the card from my pocket and say it is the only card in my pocket and amazingly they never ask to see if there are other cards in my pocket. l also sometimes like to essentially do an invisible deck routine with a regular deck of cards and I palm the card into the deck with it being the only reversed card. Those are my go-tos with the index. I hope that helps and thanks so much for watching.
I own this index and it's by far the best index that I've ever seen! I have Dex, Cheetah and a few others and I'll never even look at those again. This index is brilliant, enough said! I put some extra tape on the bottom to give it a little more rigidity and I absolutely love it! Plus Eddie is a really nice guy to deal with, the kind of guy you want to support. Thanks for the review, I was excited to see that you did a review of this because I was curious to see what others thought of it. Also, I put the cards in a slightly different order so the A's are on the outside. I start with the 2's on the first row instead of the A's and I put the A's on the outside where the K's used to be. As far as the R&S, Eddie doesn't use a R&S stick, he uses a spray that should last longer than the standard R&S. Overall, this is the last word in card indexes IMO, I truly believe it would very, very, very difficult to come up with a better, more efficient design.
Yo Icemankenny, I responded to this comment the day you posted but for some reason it seems like it never saved. Anyway loved the comment. I actually like the setup you mentioned. To me it makes a little more sense, or at least it does to me. Since posting I have decided to also get the Cheetah and just see how it compares to the other Indexes out there. Stay tuned as I may eventually do a side by side of multiple indexes. Love seeing your comment. Take Care.
I personally like Cheetah better than Dex but Cheetah doesn't compare to Eddie's R&S. It's really not even close, once you use the R&S index you'll probably never look at another one. Good luck...
Hello Smikey, I definitely like Eddie's index over DEX and thanks to ICEMANKENNYTV I have purchased Cheetah and will be giving that a test drive. Stay tuned to see what is my favorite between all of them.
Always great to see a new review from you Jonny!! Very informative -- I bought this last month and definitely seems like a very solid Index. The cards separate very easily. Been working on other stuff lately but looking forward to using an index in my performances. Will you be at Blackpool ?
David my friend, I hope you are doing well. Great to see your comment and yes time to bust out that index and put it to some good use. Take care and wishing you a happy new year.
Hey Jonny, Great review! That seems a very interesting product, and the R&S made so much sense to me, that i was like, "Why didn't I thought of that", makes perfect sense and it makes it easier to get to the cards. The one thing I need is, like everyone, is accuracy of course, but Speed is of the essence, at least for one routine that I'm developing, which I only need to get in and out, if it takes the 2, 4 or 5 seconds the effect is gone, so of course it will depend on what you are presenting, but i think that there is something innovative in this new Index, 👏👏👏 to the creator, very well done. Final note, does the Index look good? Not that much, but who cares if works, price wise seems fair, but for the international buyers not that much because on top of the price there will be import taxes 😢 Keep it up Best of regards Ezequiel
I think Jonny made a mistake in the international shipping quote. International shipping typically runs $19 -$25 for this. I only charge $18, so the R&S Index is $67 shipped internationally.
Hello Ezequiel, I am so glad you liked the review. And as you can see that Eddie responded around international costs so that is some good news. Here is my experience with this index and speed. As my practice progresses I am finding that most of the time I am between 4 to 5 seconds to get the card. I know this because I am filming myself and using a timer when I replay it back to see what my speed is. Since doing that a couple of days ago I feel like I have probably improved by about another second so for me currently I am about 3 to 4 seconds to get the card. I think it is like most things that with more practice it just gets faster and with any index there are a few cards that are really fast and others that are between the 3 to 4 second range. I hope that is helpful. Regarding the look of the index. This is subjective but I don't feel like it looks beautiful but it functions perfectly and is never seen by my spectator so it doesn't really matter to me. I hope that helps a little. All the best. Jonny
Hello Mexie, thanks so much for pointing out the truncated title. The weird thing is I noticed it when I first typed it out and corrected it but I must not have saved the change and hence it got posted. I too like the thinking on this index and find it easy to use with confidence. Happy New Year.
Oh Geezus H Christ Jonny! I have an important performance coming up next month and I practiced DEX to death but still not 100 percent accurate….and now you throw this out there lol! I’d have to rough my own deck because of the nature of the trick but that’s easy. Gawd damn why did you have to do this to me….ok calm now, how long do you think it would take him to make me one? Probably should just ask him direct right lol…damn you Jonny fiddling with my index dreams like this 😆
If you go to Eddie's website can order one. I was very surprised how quick the shipping was. Probably depends how busy Eddie is, but mine was at my doorstep in CA within a week of ordering if I remember correctly.
TMB, I knew when I posted this that it would create this issue for you and I offer my sincerest of apologies. I should have warned you sooner. My BAD! I feel bad about it and will likely have a hard time falling asleep tonight. But tonight is usually the night I get abducted so that affects my sleep too. I will have to share more of that with you on another occasion. In the mean time go and get the R&S Index and you will feel better when it arrives. Ok I am going now to fiddle with the alien's and their whole abduction plan.
It makes this the fastest, easiest to learn, most intuitive, and most versatile index on the planet. So I want one - along with hundreds of others magicians so far 🙂
Hello Ineverywhisper, Your response is the same I initially had. I couldn't quite figure why they would be R&S, but after using it, it made complete sense and actually I think does two things. It makes it a little faster to get the card and increases the security that you have the correct card. I know it may not make sense in writing but I must admit as I was initially a sceptic I was proved wrong. I hope that helps a little. Thanks so much for watching and leaving the comment.
Love the fiddle. Love the magic. Thanks🙂
Ahh Thanks So Much MultiTreehead, I really appreciate it. Wishing you a wonderful day.
I bought Eddie's index and have retired all my previous indexes. Fast and easy works for me! Great review. Thanks!

Really great thinking behind this index. The video title is truncated by the way, you'll want to fix that.

@@fiddlinjonny not going to replace Indexed which gets the job done well and with normal cards.
The R & S index destroys Indexed in every category!
