You are too kind. I think after watching the fiddle tune again I wish I had practiced more. But I think you can expect to see more rags from this channel. Thanks my friend.
Hi Randy, Yes go watch some of those teasers as I think they give a pretty good idea of what it looks like in the real world. Thanks so much for being here.
Hello Jeffery, thanks for being here and hope you really enjoy Phoenix. By the way I have enjoyed watching some of your performance videos on your channel. For folks reading comments, go check out Geofferydove's channel, some great magic over there. Take Care.
Ah you are too kind but lets be fair, Hanson's performance is about 100 times better than mine, and filmed better, but at least I have my amazing good looks going for me, so that helps some. 🤣🥸😉
Yo RockGiant, I hope you know how much I love Cape Breton fiddle playing and style. I need to make a trip there sometime and check out the worlds largest fiddle. Take care and thanks so much for being here.
Hi Jonny, excellent review: thorough, thoughtful, informative, candid, and enjoyable! You've excited me with this video to where I plan to go to Theory11 and purchase this! Thanks so much for all you do! Your friend, David
Loved the fiddle tune Jonny and this review has whet my whistle to definitely purchase this if it eventually releases in UK banknote format, although all our banknotes in UK are becoming polymer now so might consider the Euro version .Cannot believe channel is in its 4 th year 😊
Hey John, I too can not believe it is four years either. You are one of my first folks to comment on my reviews and so you hold a special place in my RUclips journey and eternally grateful for your continued support. One of the things I did not realize when I started this channel was the number of new people I would meet through the chat who I now consider friends even though I have not met in person, and you are one of those folks. Always love hearing from you and grateful you are here. Take care my friend and now we look forward to the next four years and see where it all goes.
So are all the bills you need provided? I live in Canada, so I don't really have US bills. Do you need to provide the bills, or does everything come in the package?
Hello Blake, I hope you are doing well and a great question. The bills are not included so you will have to provide those yourself and this specific version is for the United States Dollar Bill. I hope that helps. Take care my friend.
Hanson Chien continues to release a high quality effect! It’s a great effect, i just wish they included more “gimmick”. P/s: I may know what the materia is, i may find it somewhere online and try it.
Hello Teed, you are so right. Hanson has been consistently putting out really high quality magic. OOooh on the material. If you figure it out then let me know. Thanks for being here and leaving the comment. Take Care.
Hi Jonny, This is exactly the kind of trick that i would love to do, but in England we have those hateful polymer notes. (They're slippery so i can spend them quicker). All the best my friend ..... I see your moustache is just about doing "loop-da-loop" now. Rock and Roll 😊
Hey Gary, Great to see you brother. I hope that they do develop a method for the Polymer bills as that would be great. Thanks for noticing the stache. I have been letting it go a bit and I think I may need to give it a little trim, but I am aiming for more loopty loop. Take care my friend.
Great review and performance. I’ve seen a few performances thus far and while it’s amazing that it works, it just looks like u have to work way too much to heal the hole.
Hi Eric, Thanks for this comment because I must admit that after editing my video and watching my demo I too walked away with a feeling that there is a lot of time repairing that hole. I think I can probably make it a little faster but it is a moment where I think it loses some momentum. Thanks for the comment and I agree with you and is an astute observation. I don't think it will change from me not performing it but I will see if I can make some improvements from a performance perspective. Take care and thanks so much for being here and adding to the conversation.
Hello Santosh, this is a good question and I can not say my answer is 100% accurate but I did a little research into what Indian paper money is made of and American currency and it appears that there is a lot of similarity in the materials used to make the paper money. So with that knowledge my Guess is that it would probably work. However I can not guarantee it. You might reach out to Hanson Chien's team and also ask them as they may have a better answer than I do. I do not know what the surface look and feel of the Indian Rupi is so I am not confident how well it would be hidden on the currency. I wish I could be of more help but that is my thoughts for now. Thanks so much for watching and asking. Have an awesome day.
@fiddlinjonny Thanks for asking. Not to bad. Still dealing with some elbow pain and hip pain. It's tough getting older. Enjoy your comments on RUclips too. 😊👍😊😊😊👍🎵🎶🎵🪄✨️
@@RobertBallMagician It is tough getting older. This morning I had more aches in my joints than usual and wondered if it is this bad now what will it be like when i'm 80. Hang in there and glad to hear you are on the mend.
Got it. Haven’t received it yet. How confident are you lighting wise in giving it out with just one gimmick rather than using two the way they recommend for a souvenir. Thx. Great review!
Hi Brent, this may be one of the best questions so far. So this is my opinion and I suspect others will disagree with me. Theoretically I believe the tutorial is correct in that having two gimmicks on the bill should hide the method better than just one, but with that said I have not found my audience to notice that the most of mine are a single gimmick on the bill. And that is even under close inspection. So my personal preference is just one gimmick on the bill but if I intend to do the penetration twice on the same bill I would do that. I hope that helps and perhaps you already have the gimmicks in your hand at this point and can see what they look like on the bill. I hope that helps and thanks for asking a great question.
Hi Davidblaine18. At the time of recording I could not find refills yet available but suspect the best place to find them when they do come out is either at Theory 11 or at Hanson Chien Productions. Cheers.
Yes you do need to make sure that the gimmick and where you pierce the bill are lined up properly but to be honest that part is really easy. I hope that is helpful.
Hey Chet, I hope you are having a great weekend. Yes sir you are correct it will actually be an additional dollar if you hand out the bill and that is something to consider. Thanks for being here and adding to the conversation.
David you are correct that if you hand out the bill then yes it is $2.56 per performance. But when I perform this at gigs where there is a tip jar, I load up my tip jar with dollar bills that are already gimmicked. When someone comes over to my performance area I pull one of the bills out and perform it for them and then put the dollar back in the tip jar and they end up putting more money in my tip jar, so in essence I am making money every time I perform it but this will obviously not work for the casual performance. Thanks for making the point and it is well taken. Thanks for being here.
Ignition does the same thing, a hole is put in the bill with a key, and you see it happen, the key is ripped out of the bill, and you see it happen, and the bill is handed out for inspection. No refills, the key will last forever, you get two keys, one normal one gimmick. No bad lighting, no bad angles.
Angel you may have brought up the best bill penetration and restoration plot that uses a different method but still the same effect. I must admit I love Chris Smith's Ignition release for all the reasons that you mention and is organic, everyday object approach. For the method that Chris has developed I think it is probably the best with his gimmick and method. But this uses a different method and is a real penetration of the bill. I think that has a slightly different effect on the spectator when they can really see that the bill is genuinely penetrated by the sharp object. I know it may be quibbling around the edges as to which is better. I would say at the end of the day our spectators probably have the same experience but with just different methods and then it just comes down to ones personal preferences. Thanks for leaving the comment and mentioning Chris Smith's product as I can not argue with you in that it is a great release, effect and method. Thanks for leaving the comment and adding to the conversation.
I have not found the lighting to be too much of an issue. I can notice the sticker from a mile away when really well lit but my spectator does not seem to see it even when I am handing it to them. Hope that helps. Take care my friend.

Any pen work????
Yes as long as it is sharp enough to penetrate a paper bill. You can also use keys, knifes, or any other sharp object. I hope that helps.
