    I do rope drops and hit the biggest rides first then scan again around lunch when people tend to be eating and supplement with the lesser popular rides in the day. It works great and I always hit the rides I want multiple times with low wait times

    We just came back from our first trip to DW and used the LLMP. It was nice to skip some lines but we were there first thing in the morning so ‘wasted’ a LL because we didn’t need it. Plus, like you said we were bouncing all over the park to get to our next one. The time we saved in a ride line we spent walking to that queue anyway. We are going back next year and have already decided we won’t do that again. Even if it’s a busier day. We missed so much stuff (parades, fireworks, shows) because the LLMP put us on a schedule. Plus my feet were screaming at me by the end of the day.

    Have you heard anything about when the DVC lounge in Epcot is going to reopen?

      Unfortunately, no. I've been keeping a close eye. . . but there's been no updates. 😞

    People Mover as 1st ride is a boss move! Most relaxing, underrated ride. Thanks for the info. We do MK on MVMCP days in am and park hop later in evening, but we budget in the extra cost of now Lightening Lane before we decide if we can go on a trip to WDW. After watching this, I don't know if I will get it the morning of a MVMCP. I'm guessing its more of a lets see what is low wait times and just get done what you can and not focus on the major tier 1 rides right?

      Only boss moves over here! 😉 It is a GREAT ride and I love the views PLUS it's a great place to take some overhead pictures of the parks.
      You know, budgeting for the extra expense is ALWAYS a good idea. . . 'cause I'd rather have the extra cash than realize I've spent extra, ya know? That said, I've never found any skip-the-line service necessary for MK on a party day. . . and I say that as someone who almost exclusively visits MK on party days during party season. Even on the more popular attractions, wait times just aren't that bad. I mean, around lunchtime Jungle Cruise was at 45 and Mine Train was at 40. . . that's pretty good if you ask me! In the past I've also done Peter Pan with not much more than a 20 minutes wait on party days as well. Of course, there are always different ways you can play with this "method"; changing up direction, focusing on getting those "must dos" out of the way first. Whatever works best for you! I just recommend staying with the flow of the park, whichever route you decide to take.
      Another thing to keep in mind, when deciding to buy LL day of, is that availability is going to still be limited [or even non-existant] for those more popular attractions like Mine Train, for example. I've got to take some more time to really look into what availability looks like day of, 'cause I'm currently just speaking from what I noticed during this one day, but it seems like those more popular attractions get snatched up pretty quickly leaving only the stuff that you won't need LL for on this morning available. At least in my CURRENT opinion. I'll get back to you all on this in the future. 😄

      @@2foolishmortals Thank you so much for the advice. We will be staying on property so could book 7 days in advance so it will really be a luck of the day/crowd size/wait times. Hard to decide what to do, but could also save ~$75.00 if I don't need it. The wait times you've listed sound great for those high demand attractions, so ill keep watching for more tips and tricks as you get to use the system a little more and see how it goes in November! Thanks again!

    Thank you. You are as beautiful as always and your content and delivery is awesome as usual! THANKS! The MK looked kind of empty! Was it actually slow??

    • @2foolishmortals
      @2foolishmortals  2 месяца назад

      Yes, it was very slow. . . which is why we recommend visiting on a party day in order to cut down on wait times and eliminate the need for Lightning Lane. We've been testing this theory for a couple years now and this type of experience we had today has consistently been the result.

      @@2foolishmortals Thank you. I do not like the idea of having to use a ton of money Lightning Lane on top of what I've already paid for park entry. I believe your theories are rock solid.

    Are crowds and wait times durung the party similar to before the party? I'd be tempted to skip using a day of admission and buying party tix instead, but probably only if I were planning two days at MK.

      You know, that's a good question. When I've done the parties in the past, I've found that the lines can be shorter than a typical day. . . but are pretty much the same as you'd get the morning of [like we experienced today]. I do find that the exception are special layovers, like Space Mountain, which can actually get a longer line during the party than we experienced the morning of the party.
      I will say, I have had families do what you're suggesting and it's worked out for them. That said, it's important to understand that it's not really a substitution to a park day. There will be some trade-offs, but it can definitely be a LOT of fun!
