    Like you said: everyone’s video is gonna be the same anyway “Long lines, stuff doesn’t work, etc.” I definitely would wait. No point rushing to show us a bad experience lol.

      The more and more I think about it and chat with you guys, the more I think you're right. . . . waiting is probably the best option. Thanks! 😄❤️

    While it's certainly going to be historic since we've not seen a new gate in Florida for quite a number of years, for me personally I would not and will not be going for the opening. However, I am also not a You Tuber.🤷‍♀️ As a You Tuber I would probably go, but I would look at it as a business trip. That being said any first day of anything at a Florida theme park is always crazy. I can't imagine what this opening day will look like. 🤪 Not to mention things might not work as expected so I would pack my patient pants if you do decide to go. If you're looking to go just to have fun then I would wait. First day is going to be packed with other influencers/RUclipsrs as well as "regular guests". So I would look at as do I want to just have a great day and if so then I would wait. If you're looking at it as a business opportunity to potentially build your channel then I would definitely go. You do offer interesting takes on your videos which is what drew me to your channel as I do watch a number of other Disney You Tubers (shocking, I know 😉). Although, I will say that a number of them have fallen by the weighside for me, simply because it seemed like it was the same videos over and over again. So if you do go. I would say give a unique take on it. I have kind of narrowed my watching down to about 4-5 channels now for my Disney content. (Mammoth Club, DFB Guide, Yours, can't remember the channel name but the guy's name is Eric and he and his husband do a lot of great LL challenges and All Ears). So hopefully that was helpful. 🤞

    I would probably wait, they will have bugs to work out for the first few weeks. I'm a big fan of the Harley-Cast format. 😜

      Glad you enjoy it! Much easier to do now that I can drop the top so much easier! I'm not baking like I usually do. 🫠

    As UOAP holders we weighed all our options. Including an email we received from USO stating that passholder previews will be available. We decided our plan is to go to Epic at least once (maybe a couple/few times depending on availability) before May 22. Yeah things may not be prefect as it is a rehearsal and we understand that. But that will get us our Epic fix in. And treat is like any normal year. Because of too many people and the heat, we stop going to all the theme parks right around then. Then we start going again once the weather starts cooling off. Around late Oct or early Nov. Hopefully Epic will be part of our passes and we will need to renew ours by then.
    TLDR: We'll enjoy Epic Universe during passholder previews. Then again in the fall when there are less people and heat.

      @2foolishmortals  17 часов назад +1

      Yes! I wasn't sure that previews were going to be a thing for EPIC when we had this chat, but Russ filled me in later when he heard about it. I definitely would love to do a preview to at least get a taste, even if it's not 100% up and running. . . . but we'll have to see how it goes. I'll be sitting here with my fingers crossed. lol You bring up such a great point too, which I wasn't even thinking of. . . . the heat! If I'm going to be pulling an entire day in the parks to try and squeeze in as much as possible 'cause I've only got so many days to work with, I'd rather do that when it's a bit cooler! GREAT thinking!

    Dark Universe here too but also How to Train Your Dragon. Personally I would wait. First days are going to be rough. However from a viewer standpoint I enjoy your honest perspective so I am looking forward to that.

      @2foolishmortals  21 минуту назад

      You know, I'm not a How To Train Your Dragon fan, but that's only 'cause I haven't seen the movies. I hear SO MANY good things a bout them though, so I feel like I need to set aside some times to check them out. Definitely before EPIC! Even so, that HTTYD land looks pretty cool! I'm really looking forard to that stage show, among other things. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! 😄❤️

    The next time I'll be in Orlando is Sept 2025, and I'm assuming (hoping) this 3-day requirement will be gone by then. I looked up the pricing and just about lost it - last time I went, it was like $99 for a 2-day hopper between USO and IOA - lol oops! Getting older sucks.

    • @2foolishmortals
      @2foolishmortals  14 минут назад

      Yeah. . . . tell me about it! 😅 I am hoping that as we get closer to opening Universal drops the ticket requirements AND has an add on for Annual Passholders, but we'll just have to wait and see. While I do very much appreciate why they're doing this, especially at the start, I'm very curious to know what the actual impact will be. It's going to be interesting one way or another!

    I seriously considered it and having photos and videos early would be cool, BUT you can only get ONE day and it will probably be PACKED and I imagine the Express Pass will be the size of a mortgage payment. Also, it is VERY likely, given theme park history, that some attractions will not be ready and some will not work properly. If I were local, I would probably do it and just use it as a day to get content.

    It’s 11:37pm 10/24/24 and May passholder tickets are sold but looks like everything else is still available. As an out of state passholder with kids who are still in school in May, we’re waiting. I’d love to be there but it’s ok to wait for the bugs to be fixed. I will say if a passholder preview date lines up with our schedule I’d be ok flying down for a weekend 😂. In reality we might try to tie it in with our summer trip in August, just need to wait for everyone to figure out what dates will work for us (probably by April).

      I think that's a good way to go. Plus, let's be honest with ourselves here, that new car smell is still gonna be there. . . . . so will the craziness. . . . . but at least SOME of it will have backed off a bit. I think it's really the best way to have the best of both worlds for something like this.

    OMG the Jeep Wrangler windshields. I needed to replace mine ever 2 years without fail...a huge crack offset center on passenger side. Also my friend just got one of the Hybrid Wranglers and it got me thinking of options in the future when my son gets older LOL. Great move on Universals part...way to get people to stay long, spend more money, and limit attendance. A question we don't have an answer to is will Epic Universe be able to be done in 1 day? I think you going day of should be for you if you want, not for your content, bc none of us will be watching you and having to deal with the opening day crowd of Epic. Same when it comes to the first night of MVMCP, etc.

    • @2foolishmortals
      @2foolishmortals  17 часов назад +1

      Right!? lol I've been seeing a lot of the hybrid jeeps on the road recently. They're not really my thing, but then again I'm very invested in Harley with all the work I've done. . . . so the thought of having a different jeep [or another one] hasn't even crossed my mind.
      I agree! It's a great way to ensure that they keep themselves in a comfortable position all around rather than having this new park choke out the other 2 when it opens. Honestly, I'd imagine that you could probably knock out EPIC in one day eventually. . . . definitely not at the start though. Unless they are REALLY limiting capacity to ensure that everyone who bought a ticket can get the full experience. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
      I also TOTALLY agree with the 1st night/day hype not really translating to views/reach or whatnot. It almost never does. . . no matter what we're talking about. Whether it's people having other places they're going for their information or being in the mix themselves, I think that the best time to really dig in for the sake of the channel is later on. At least that's my thought process at the moment. Thanks. :-)
