Scar doesn't just redeem himself. He does it by defeating Wrath, the emotion he was consumed with at the start of the series. Wrath dies after what could be seen as interference from God...and in a flashback, he told the Ishvalans to strike him down themselves, rather than rely on God. The way so many things come together is just chef's kiss. And then Hohenheim. At the start of the series, he leaves and we think he's a bad father. Now we learn why...that he left FOR his kids.
it is fitting that after the transmutation circle was reversed and Amestris have their souls back that the first thing you hear is the cry of a baby. Best sound in the world to tell you there's life in the world.
These final scenes are amazing. Ed finally has what he's been searching for for years, but at a price he never would have been willing to pay. He's never felt such fury in his life, and now Father feels the full rage of the Fullmetal Alchemist.
The details of Edward’s hand having long fingernails is just 🤌. It’s amazing the way all the people that the Elric brothers have interacted with have all banded together, even those that started out as enemies, to fight a common threat that is leagues beyond their capabilities. Shows how much influence those brothers have…
Father had essentially ‘hacked’ the alchemy in Amestris, leeching it and giving him control over it. With the reverse circle, they broke that hack, giving control back.
so ima just go on and say this now cuz im pretty sure its plenty obvious now that youve basicly watched the entire series(or just ALL of it at this point, dont read unless youve watched the entire series here angel): notice how the death of the homonculi is ALWAYS IRONIC? lust gets killed by a man whos not interested in her whatsoever, gluttony gets eaten, sloth gets killed from overwork, wrath dies in peace, envy dies from self reflection, pride experiences ego-death, greed dies by giving things away... and lastly, the dwarf in the flask, after attaining literal godlike powers got beaten to death by straight up a regular dudes hands...
If you haven't already can you give Dr Stone and To your Eternity a watch when you have the chance. And heads up. Tissues are highly recommended for to your eternity

Too bad you chose Japanese dub over English. Now the bloopers are pointless
