circle hooks can be exelent if you are doind a slow wind into them,i use tree hooks and nomally catch at least 2,the comotion of a slow wind in draws em to your bait

drop the hook size to 4 you will hook up all the time,there mouths are small,thats why your getting big ones,
I have got some smaller hooks now, will try it out soon! Cheers
