I love your terminology with next door, basement, upstairs, downstairs, neighbor ❤ I've never heard it explained like that.
I agree.😊 Makes it easier to remember, for me. BTW, Prym hooks squeak, as you observed. I find rubbing them with a dryer sheet helps with that.
I'd like to buy a vowel 😂🤣😂 Oops wrong show 💜💜
You are so funny. I love it Karen❤
🤭🤣🤣😆
With all the wheel spinning, I was expecting Vanna's Choice yarn. 🤪
Yay !! I love "spin the wheel" beanies 💕😻💕
Thank you for the zen beanie and the procedure for making it. I wish you a very happy new year and much success in 2024!🎉🎉🎉
Thats very fun with the wheel to find the stich to a beanie . Thanks for sharing Juan 👏👏Exited in did 🌟🥳🥰
Such a great beanie -- the ombre colours worked up so nicely 👌💜🤍
Love this idea with the Spin the Wheel. It could be endless ways to crochet a hat. Can not wait to start this hat. Keep up the great work that you do. Love your channel.
Yay 😃 I did it I made the years end beanie I’m so proud of myself thanks to you Juan 😊I’m so happy having so much fun on your channel 😀😀😀😀
Hey, Juan! So nice to see you tonight! 😊I’m glad you are doing so well. Nothing going on in my life other than watching the thermometer fluctuating up to almost 50F down to 32F every day and night. Do I need to mention no snow, some rain? I’d love some snow, to be truthful… Nonetheless, I continue to knit, in my recliner, under a quilt, (crocheted afghan on the horizon). and a cup of coffee near my right elbow. I’m monogamous with my projects; gotta finish one before I start something else or the first one is possibly forgotten. Have a great weekend and I’ll see you next year. Cheers to you and your sweet mom for a happy and prosperous New Year! ❤🎉❤
Sounds like what is going on in Minnesota weather wise. High today 41. It’s been raining for days. No snow.
Same here in Massachusetts, rain cool/cold days even colder/freezing nights.
I love watching you
Love your yearend beanie and the colors are popping yess!!!
Hi Juan another awesome hat tutorial
Hello from California
Ready Set Gooooo! 🎉🎉🎉
21 rows of perfection!
Hi Juan, what a neat idea for a beanie! Love how yours turned out! Also your terminology upstairs, neighbors, etc., is very creative and easy to remember. Wishing you and your Mom a Happy and Healthy New Year!
I thanked Michi
For sharing this idea for us to have fun!
Hi Juan, 👋 As usually "youtube" didn't send the notification bell" but im watching it now. Nice Beanie.
Yaay another spin the wheel !!! ❤❤❤❤
Such a pretty beanie!!!! Love the colorway and love the pattern! That wheel is awesome🤩
Love the beanie!
Awesome! Love this
Ahhh. This was great. I am exhausted by going next door, down to the basement, then next door again, basement, next door, etc. I have visited the whole block of homes, made a few friends along the way. Ha, ha. Happy New Year
Thats a beautiful har irs and all
Juan your beanie looks so pretty love the color I’m going to make mine today 😊
I really enjoyed this tutorial and your using such cute sayings for where the stitches went -next door, upstairs, downstairs. I think the pattern choice was great and I definitely want to try making it. And my two favorite stitches are half double and double as they go so fast along the project. Good choice of color-i love ombre yarns with Red Heart my all time favorite go to.
This is going to be fun! I can't wait to see all the beanies. This is a great way to send out the old year. 🎉
Juan has me a beanie making fool LOL just finished my years end beanie. Will be posting shortly. Such a good teacher and I love your terminology ❤
Hi Juan and Mom ❤❤🥰🥰!
This is so fun. Love the wheel. Love this everyone can make it their own . Love the beanie , purple is my favorite color
❤making one now 🎉I love this idea thank you Juan
I like the spin the wheel for the stitches. I was fine until I think round 4? Needed to have 60 stitches and I had about 70.lol..tore it our 4 times before I got it! Almost done now...lol. I will post a pic to Facebook group when I'm done.. thank you for the challenge...I can't wait to try snother.....❤❤❤😊😊😊
You are like a kid in a candy store with all that enthusiasm and giddiness! I love that beanie. I love purple too so perfect! I was wondering what that squeak was. A hook, not a mouse 🐭....oh good! WD 40 🤣🤣🤣, that helps! Send some of your energy my way 😊
Happy to watch this one!
i (LOVE) the l/t purple ombre and hve used it sev times.
I’d never seen the herringbone stitch. Had to look it up. I mayyyyy like it. 😂
I liked the year end beanie. Looking forward to the New Year 24 beanie. See you next year. Stay safe.
Love love love the colorway of the yarn! I almost think I can attempt this. I understand the stitches. I am confused about where some of them are placed. Anyway, Love this. Thank you for sharing. See you in the next one.
Hi Juan, last Friday of 2023 and a new Beanie on the way! Exciting!
Such a brilliant idea
I love this beanie can't wait to try it.
That is nice
I was you tube surfing and stumbled on your videos. You crack me up; but you are also kindcand respectful. I need to watch the tutorial again because I have 4 beanies to make. 3 sons and one daughter. Great practice 😂
I hope we can do a beanie once a month for the new year with the wheel like we just did that way by december we got plenty for gifts....tho i make beanies all time...i like the mystery of the spinning wheel part. I finished my spin the wheel years end beanie, when my request to join facebook group is granted, i will post the pic of my beanie.
Hi from Wisconsin!
I agree with royalone3009 I like all the terminology you use it makes it fun and funny. My favorite stitch is the herringbone. Have a great and blessed New Year.
What a great idea. I look forward to seeing all the beanies. Hello mama Wilma.
Where do we post the finished beanies?
Lovely 🌹
I just like was looks nice no fav I can use any stitches
Good evening Juan from Alabama!!❤❤❤
My color OCD is triggered by the two color last round lol. I would totally have done one round of slip stitches just to have the darker shade go all the way around, but that's my damage. Gorgeous beanie! I have some ombre left over from the Giant Purple FrankenBlanket I made for my husband for Christmas.
Juan, I love the Spin the Wheel Beanies but, not a fan of seeing the finished product before the tutorial. I like the element of surprise when it is finished. I do love the idea of using the stitches as the crocheter chooses. All this is said with love and admiration for you and your talent. Great way to end the year😊
Definitely love the spin the wheel for a beanie. This is so cool. Thank you Juan and Happy New Year
Hi Juan ! Love the spin the wheel series ! Great looking beanie ❤
Hi Juan! Yay! New Year, New Beanie! 🥰🧶 I love this idea so much! I can’t wait!!!
Hey Juan, it’s spinning the wheel time 😊❤
I just made this beanie and I LOVE it!. I mostly followed Juan's pattern but improvised a bit for the last rows when I tried it on and realized I did not need 3 more rows of ribbing, unless I had wanted a very slouchy beanie.
Love it and colour purple lol😊
Hey hey
Yay…..another PURPLE beanie/hat!! 💜💜💜💜
I also love the herringbone stitches….single & half doubles!
Love the Year End Beanie Juan!
Thank you and Happy New Year 🎆 to you & ur Mom!!
😊🧶🦋💜
Hello, Juan! I'm ready for a beanie! 💕💕💕
fun challenge!
This was cool and happy New year to you and youre sweet mom🎉🎉🎉
Loved it! Made the beanie, a couple rows less since I am not 6'5" and it turned out great! What fun! Happy New Year to you and Mom!!
Love the pattern. So glad you changed the hook. The sound the hook makes was really bothering me. Making the hat right now.
HI Juan 👋, I love how your beanie came out! I have a bunch of that yarn that I want to make a blanket with, still Trina figure that out with all the other plans I have...
❤❤❤hi Juan just watched your year end beanie and have a suggestion…I wish you would try on the finished project or else measure it from top to bottom to see if it will fit an adult♥️♥️♥️♥️thank you love your tutorials 😌😌
Hi, from the way he makes the crown, it is meant as an adult hat. 😊
Hi, Juan! I love how this beanie came out! I didn't make one at the same time because I'm watching this at 2am & my hands aren't up to it. Plus, some sleep would be a good idea, and I intend to get some tout de suite! But not before I also wish you a Happy New Year🎉! Peace 🕊 and Love 💜 to you, friend. xx
This is so fun❤
I’m so happy you enjoy this!!
Hi Juan
Hi everyone, bit late. Juan this is excellent idea for beginners as we learn new stitches. Love beanie ❤️🎶👌
Juan, I was wondering where you got the symbols for your stitches, I’ve never seen any of them before when looking at stitch patterns.
Oh my goodness, this is a beautiful beanie! I saved it so I can start tomorrow 😊😊😊
You could do the same for a scarf?
Do you have the wheel weighted to give repeats?
Hey Juan id I wanted to increase one more after 60 stitch increase. What would to do to make it bigger by increase one row from 60 to 72 stitches
Juan, question: what stitch do you recommend when using black yarn for stitch definition? It's always hard to see the stitch pattern when using dark yarns.
When using black, I think of what kind of texture can I make with it…since it’s so dark you’re not going to see it as well as you would with lighter colors. Alternating between front post double crochet and regular crochet is an example of showcasing a black yarn. I would stay away from single crochet with a black yarn.
Can you create a #hashtag for us to use? #spinthewheelbeanie One for all of your spin the wheel beanie project?
Great idea!!
I hope you took BPDC off the wheel!!!!!🥴
I did 😂😂😂😂😂
Are closed captions only available for certain videos? I have a sensitivity to the squeaky yarn sounds (not your fault!) but would love to be able to read what you’re saying. 💜
He changed his hook about 16:00
You should be able to turn the closed caption ON by clicking the little “cc” with a square box around the “cc” which is at the top of the video screen.
Hope this helps!!
@@tinastalion6266 this particular video it’s greyed out for me, but works well on others which was why I asked. Maybe is an issue with the app not sure.
Update: I didn’t know this but RUclips can take up to 24 hours to have the captions available I guess I just tried to watch it before they were available. All good now! ❤
@@zormdazzle Ohhhh wow….thats good to know. I didn’t know it took RUclips a while to make the “cc” available!! Thanks for letting me/us know!
Happy New Year!!🎆
I can’t stand the screeching sound 😬 that hook makes. I can’t lower the volume bc I’ll miss your comments and instructions, and if I turn on the cc your stitches will be covered by the words. THANKS so much for changing it!😊❤
I buried all my dead pets in thses.
Cool 😎. A new twist to the beanie wheel. Yours came out fantastic. I have just completed 12 hats/ scaft sets and finishing up two huge afghans. Gotta give this a try. So much fun! 🎉😅😊❤
