  • I've recently started getting gluten free bread and rolls on prescription again. I decided to do this to hep soften the financial blow that comes with needing to purchase specialist gluten free foods. Fortunately I live in an area in the UK that still offer basic gluten free food to people living with Coeliac disease or who require a gluten free diet due to other medical reasons.
I talked about checking out gluten free companies to see what they products they provide. Not only do these companies offer great specialist gluten free products they also have super informative and extremely helpful resources on their websites. Here's the links:
    www.juvela.co....
    www.glutafin.c...
    www.warburtons...
    geniusfood.com...
If you are getting multiple items each month on prescription it's definitely worth looking into obtaining a prepayment certificate. Here's the link you need to check things out:
    www.nhsbsa.nhs...
If you live in England Juvela and Glutafin have really handy gluten free food postcode checkers on their site. Coeliac UK also have a great page about prescription policies. Here's the link for that: www.coeliac.or...
As always thanks for watching, liking and subscribing to my channel.
Please do get in touch if you have any questions.
    For now,

Hi there, if you’ve been diagnosed with coeliac disease and live in an area within the Uk that prescribes basic gluten free foods, then you will need to contact your GP about setting up a prescription. If you’re unsure about what products you’d like to request from your GP, you are able to contact gluten free companies, such as Juvela and Glutafin and they will send out samples for you to try to help you decide what you’d like to order. Here is a link that may help further. www.glutafin.co.uk/just-diagnosed/your-prescription/
      Good luck 💫
