Never overfill the system, either. This situation can create a vacuum within the tank that prevents the AdBlue from being injected into the exhaust. Consequentially, the AdBlue light may remain illuminated after filling. The AdBlue pump and circuitry are located on top of the tank in some cars.
I have the message "incorrect diesel exhaust fluid quality detected" but after I added 10 liters of fluid the message is not eliminated, the remaining kilometers decrease, so I think the system works. I don't understand.
If it says about Quality, then it is some other issues.. did you just put water instead of Adblue.. car will run for some time until it detects it is not adblue, in that case needs completely emptying the tank.
Had the same problem and solved it the way you showed, thanks!
Thank you.
Can you keep the car running until it has consumed the over fill to normal level?

Hi, message reset to the tank is empty or after you put Adblue back in?
Didn't empty it completely.. only took off the overfiller. After turning off the ignition the message reset automatically.
