This song means so much to me right now. I was married for ten and with my best friend for 14 years. Unfortunately he didn’t treat me right, couldn’t get it right to love me and put my emotional needs above himself when I needed him the most. Last straw, he started messaging another women and creating feelings for her at work. It’s time I gave him up and it’s all so hard because every word of this song has rang through to my situation. Scrolled across this song randomly but it hit deep as my girlfriend just broke up with me for no reason. Found the strength to give her my whole heart and all she did was break it. Us guys go through it, just like women do. I’m talking about abuse & consumption of alcohol that causes it. I’ve been dealing with it the last couple of years & I finally ended it earlier this week. She doesn’t know what to think of it all yet, but doing what’s best for me & my two sons that have had to witness it. Nobody’s a punching bag, doesn’t matter what a person has done.
