Just picked mine up today! But at my SW it was priced at $330. Luckily I didn't have to pay for it! Very excited to upgrade from my Purdy Backpack considering my van doesn't have any shelves so this'll keep everything nice and tidy and ready to go!
I have Milwaukee packouts and my buddy has DeWalt. I was gonna purchase this specifically for my paint (organization purposes) I can't say I would ever buy this pos. I can make those paint attachments for 25$ and install them on much more sturdy packouts. I wish you the best with this box and it would be very cool to see it fully stocked with your gear.
Looks like rebranded Ridged boxes. They have the same latching system to hold the boxes together. Other than the pole slots and brush hangers I'd want a bit more for for an extra $150 over the ridged kit
Appreciate you putting this up. But that price is crazy. I was bitching about paying $60. For the backpack, which I still haven't used. I only do interior, and carry too much shit. Currently using a ton of the Ridgid boxes and crates . Thanks Again Buddy
I like it don’t like the price. I used the rigid portable tool box for other jobs works great cost much less. But if see this for cheaper I’m getting this
Nice! A fellow painter and musician. However, $280 seems really steep to me, especially when you can buy a similar Stanley tool box for around $100.🤷♂️
Yep it is steep. I was expecting something a bit more rugged. The boxes are rugged just not the platform and handle. I’m taking the backpack today for a deck.
@@mckaymnm I've been told $250 is their cost, and they're willing to sell it to me for that price as a one-off sale. 😬 BTW, I was told not to tell anyone either. Lol. I feel safe here though. 😅 Just gotta pressure your sales reps.
I think I’ll wait for the next series, I’m amazed that purdy been in business 100 years and now they want to build us a box. It’s long overdue and should of been way more thought out….. it blows my mind.
Milwaukee pack out is only 199 during Black Friday. Not that purdy came out with this someone will 3D print brush holders and pole holders for the pack out.
The locking mechanism it's like ridgid roll out tool boxes... I use dewalt though for my tools but for travel. ($149 3 pieces black friday sale). I don't need a roll out for local.

Will do.

It does, I didn’t realize it. Till you said it, thanks again much appreciated. Thanks for the Keen Eye!
Do you think one of the Rigid boxes would lock onto this thing?
Yes except it’s the same locking system but the depth maybe different because of the molding on the outside not the depth on the inside.
I’ve been looking at these but carrying everything around in empty 5 gallon buckets is free. Hard to turn that down. Wheels seem nice to have though
Go with the Dewalt toughsystem works perfectly.

@@WhatsForDinner1 I called my sales rep, he's going to try and see if he can get a better price on it.
@@sliceoflife3955 i might do 200 but thats it. seems more corny than anything. maybe they'll improve it???

Not too worried about it. I got more money than time. But tell the world. Everyone should get the best deal.

Very cool, I will be buying
Interesting ideas that could be converted on a couple other box systems that have better developed boxes.
Which would those be?
@@WhatsForDinner1 Flex and Milwaukee make better boxes
Yeah not for painters.
@@WhatsForDinner1 Yeah, as is, but there are huge aftermarket 3d print markets for those boxes that can make them for painters.

It’s basically toughsystem from dewalt

It's super pricey for what it is, there are many storage box systems that do the same so much cheaper, it looks good lol.
Linda essa caixa quero uma
$300 just for it to get bombed out? No thanks. I’d rather get the husky system for $100 and won’t worry about taking care of it.
How many drop cloths do you have, 2? Lmao. I have a whole storage rack of drop cloths.
I have only eight. But I have two of each. different sizes & 4 different kinds, it works for me.
A fool and his money is easily parted.
