I am so grateful to you for all the work you do to help us. This is a whole new world to me and you and Dr. Ben Thompson have been so helpful and encouraging. I always get positive mental reactions when I watch your videos. You make this real because you are a real person.

Thanks for your fantastic videos, that have, and will also in the future, help me.
    My tips :
Turn off tv - you never know what horrible stuff they'll throw at you. I'm a pretty strong person, but some stuff just gets to me.
Buy/get/stream some Mozart piano sonatas or similar. You'll get sound, and it'll be non-intrusive and relaxing. At work I have either Mozart or Bach's Goldberg Variations / Wohltemperierte Klavier running almost non-stop on speakers. (Own office)
WATCH out for all the blue/bright light comming from your laptop / smartphone. On all my computers I have a program called "f.lux" running (free). It'll filter out the blue light as the sun sets - you just need to type in your location. Similar programs are available on smartphones. All that blue light can mess up your sleep patterns, as it makes the brain think its daylight.
@Julian : My tinnitus is recent and is jaw/neck related - I can trigger it by moving either. Your training vids are ace. Thanks!

Your right. Try to relax before going to sleep.
I like to write about the positive things or reflect in a sence on lesser things of the day or week. Helps me zone out. Also great to read your own progress.
Then use the deep relaxation/ follow my voice cd from my therapist.
If nothing works, call your docter.

I found when I was at work I just couldn't sleep even though I was exhausted. I am a bit better now because I can go to bed at the same time every night and have actually started sleeping without drugs. I have changed my job to a less stressful one needless to say, but the Tinnitus remains. I think I will be going on the Candida diet! Certainly worth a try - I have noticed that dairy makes mine worse so I avoid it.

I get to sleep ok because I do clench and relax and other meditations each night however the noise in my head gets loud and it wakes me. A bath often spikes tinnitus even though my body is relaxed. I have only had tinnitus since 1/4/16 but I am working very hard to remain calm. I read your book daily as inspiration. N thank you so much for all the videos you post. They are extremely honest, heartfelt and helpful. Enjoy Juian

Glad you find it helpful. If you are still reactive have you tried having gentle body-work like craniosacral therapy? It helped my tinnitus back off more than anything. Best wishes Julian

Julian Cowan Hill Hi Julian, why do you think her tinnitus is still loud although feeling? Maybe the hormonal part of it hasn’t shifted to a lower level? I am very curious to see if there are any cranial sacral therapist near me that understand tinnitus. Wish you were nearby. I live in Maryland , USA

Also fasting from 2pm till morning works wonders. If you cannot fast for yourself, then fast as a prayer.

I am wondering how bad people's T actually is, fi you can even mask the T with a sound machine. Has anyone had T when it is just a loud, shrieking noise and you are incapable of doing anything?

I sleep with the fan on . I could not sleep in the beginning for weeks. I was constantly crying . Finally when I calmed down my T got better. If I nap I wake up with my T loud. But I guess I can keep trying. I do know if I do get a good sleep at night I can handle my T a lot better. For some reason after dark it slowly gets louder. I also noticed when it rains or is going to rain it is worse. You are very calming I really appreciate your videos and how you help people.

Hi, JueLee. How did you get your tinnitus?

    • @jueleeocasio2468
      @jueleeocasio2468 6 лет назад +2

OFFSTALLICA I am unsure . I was told in the beginning it was allergies then I was told it may be migraines and recently I was told it sounded like it was muscular . All l know is I have good days and bad days and when I am tired it is harder to ignore. I am still hoping it eventually will go away.

I have really bad tinnitus I try thinking of something else And I cant My mind always wanders back to the ringing. I'm very young and My mom doesn't know what to do. I don't think there's a cure. People have had it for over like 50 years and it's not gone!
