      Yup me too.
      I donated my first pint of blood yesterday, and was feeling spriteful, and so on my drive back from the centre, i was blasting my fav music in my car.
      I woke up this morning, with heavily muffled hearing in one of my ears, and damn; few feelings as powerful as regret.
      I only wish i could go back to yesterday and undo what i freaking did.
      Im bloody 25 too, flip sake.

    Rock guitarist Paul Gilbert. For some time he tried to protect his ears wearing headphones even on stage. In some interviews you can see that he barely is able to hear the questions. As far as I know he now wears hearing aids.

      How severe was your hearing loss? And how much better did that hearing aid work?

    • @gbkworf
      @gbkworf 3 месяца назад

      @@WallsOfAbaddon I have severe low frequency loss in both ears, right around a 75db threshold. Considering that all the important sounds, blood pressure, heart and lung sounds are all very low frequency I was totally screwed. BP sounds were loud but the others sounded funny to me. They have some new ones now that are even louder. But the app and connection worked well. The new one does not even come with ear pieces. Strictly designed to work with ear buds or hearing aids. It is a game changer for people who need this for work.

    • @WallsOfAbaddon
      @WallsOfAbaddon 3 месяца назад

      @gbkworf wow thats crazy, well glad youve managed to find a way to cope.
      I recently acquired tinnitus with slightly reduced hearing in one ear, and i guess im in the 'breaking into' period, because it has sort of been driving me insane over the past few days.
      Ill maybe look into different hearing apparatus to see if i can find something to help mitigate.
      Keep well :)

    Your voice audio has a persistent distortion component that is very irritating, similar to the way fingernails on a chalkboard is for some people. At least to me. I limit or minimize watching your videos because of this by skipping through much of them or just stop watching. Other RUclipsr's videos are fine. Many sound very good and only have this issue on yours. Your audio sounds way over processed and this distortion (or processing artifacts) seems present across all your videos. I realize that perhaps my ears are perhaps sensitive to distortion as I only utilize high qualily audio equipment and speakers even on my computer for most of my life now being 67. Thanks!

    • @ahmadm.nawafleh2423

      Yes, if the disease is localized to to the basal areas of the skull, then there is a potential to cause middle ear infection by passing the a thin bony roof in the middle ear cavity, which will result in inner ear infection and finally hearing loss..
