Hell yeah. Should try buying a bulk roll of 20% window tint and installing that on the simple builds. And subtract the % amount you paid for the roll. Will probably come out to ~5-10 bucks per window.
100% illegal Unless you check your state Window tints not cheap if you get the good stuff then you need to install it correctly which most people can't ..lol Me I can install tint Just a pain in the ass especially the back window I can did my full car it was a couple hundred dollars just for the tint No cheap stuff it wouldn't last long out here in the desert

A great tip for when painting rims whilst still on the car is to use bags/paper to protect the fenders. Overspray can get everywhere so ofc the best bet is to mask everything but if you don’t have time for that a safe bet would be to mask 1.5-2 meters around your spray area, maybe more if you’re spraying outside with wind
Alot of people seem to think you need to spend alot of money to transform the look of your car, this shows you don't need to & you can have fun at the same time!
It is so easy to get caught up in the big mods, and forget just how much the little details matter. Also, I had no clue Autozone sold those universal front lips!
You can remove the little Lexus logos on the center caps. It takes some time but worth it to keep the little chrome logo. Then you can paint the center caps black to match the wheels. After, you can plastic weld/glue them back on. I did this with my SC430. That way you don’t have those goofy silver caps in the middle. All in the details.
Just found you on Instagram, had to come to the Channel and I love it! Big diy guy with endless projects, my s14 is about to get a huge restore and this is nice
i love what you’re doing man! showin everyone you don’t have to poor all of your money into your car to show it some love, you just might have to take some time to get it where you want it and ideally you enjoy that work! excited to se what comes of this channel! i have an old nissan leaf that is not the greatest looking thing but i’ve done things like painting the wheels black and debadging to get it to a little bit more of a place that I enjoy lookin at :)
The footage is very nice. I think the lighting towards the end really brings back memories of Ohio evenings. Something nostalgic that’ll only be a memory.
Love the older GS400 great car naturally aspirated V8 engine and car last forever with good care! A cheap build I want to take on in the future once I get the right garage set up!
@@goodcitizen3910 just fine. Would need to clean wheels very good to not have any oil, grease, or brake dust on wheel, to have a good bond. Clean, sand, prime, paint. Clear if needed.
It looks so damn good. I’m really loving this series. It’s helping me stay motivated and stay on a budget with my little project. I have an 08 5 speed Corolla & I just blacked out the grille right before I saw the notification for this video too lol
Use Maguire’s aluminum polish and use it to buff headlights. Works better than any kit I have seen. 9 dollars multiple sets of headlights looking like new.
Nice work. Only things I could say are totally nitpicky, like leaving the chrome trim around grill chrome. But that doesn’t detract from the quality of the $100 refresh.
hey whats up my name is Abel from new york city, im a big fan of this channel and i love that you tranform old cars to street cars.... your the best dude i have a toyota corolla 2004 69k miles brand new it would be so dope you can hook it up less than 1000$ dude that would be sick 🙏🏼🚀
It would help if the RUclipsr would list what size chrome exhaust tips… Also, the rubber lip that goes under the front bumper? Just do it ones with care so you don't need to worry about it any more. Key points are 1. sand for good surface 2. Make light spray layers 3. CLEAR COAT IT
I love AutoZone. It's always my first stop for care care needs. And of course, if they don't have it, there always seems to be a competitor right night door.

Just the quick swap of the mufflers changes the sound that much? just curious becuase he didnt show a before and after on the sound, just wanna know how noticeable it really is.
No this has an exhaust leak lol. The tips add a tiny bit of echo which could make the car sound better depending on how much bigger the tips are over stock

This is great shows how the little things changes on a car makes a big difference
Looks so good for only 100 bucks! but the wheels center cap in stock silver with black rims looks a little bit weird tbh
Tbh I think they'd look worse black
I actually don’t mind it
I feel the silver centers makes the car look less stock and sticks out rather than my preferred OEM Plus look. Good transformation though👍🏼

Just get a long piece of cardboard and wrap it up around the fender
For $100 he definitely got more than that out of the look. Nicely done!
The mod that i loved the most was the bucket too hold the hood. 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 looks great bro just wanted to say it no hate. Great restoration there.

U gotta spray the can lil more far that’s why it’s leaking and small hits
Normally I’d say that all of this is extremely ricey and distasteful but you make the finished product very clean. Dope

Found u video from Instagram, love the content💪 did the exhaust tips make it louder? Learning about that stuff, thanks !
Thanks! And in this case no, but it could make a small difference but that depends on the size of the tips and the car tbh
Dammmm I'm going autozone right now.lol😂😂😂
Do $100 Walmart transformation! Might be a able to stretch the $100 a bit more. They have the spray paint and headlights kits way cheaper

The Craigslist car flip special lol
Can you spray the lug nuts and caps if you want?
I think if you got the headlight restoration kit that uses a drill, it would come out better.
with all due respect, black paint on stock wheels makes the car look awful
Agreed
That’s your opinion 👍🏽

Lmao it was 1 sumothing before tax foo wtf goofy
Should have bought hood struts 💀
Looks like a whole new car, amazing!
My question is how long will the paint on the wheels and the bumper last though?
For the paint you can add clear coat and maybe make it last longer
will last until the first power wash.

Do you know of any black wheel covers made for this car?
Why do I think that this car would look phenomenal in two colours like a Maybatch🤔
What was that spray you used to clean the headlights?
Best way you could spend $100 on that car for sure
I have the chrome stocks can I still sand them down and paint them?
That Rust-Oleum paint on rims are only gonna last a few months if that without clear coat.
