Can we talk of how good are Vein as musicians ? The dudes played one of the most intense set I’ve seen, yet they played perfectly, it seriously sounded like a studio recording. They are something else

coming back to this 3 years later and realized they have Marisa from fleshwater on the keyboard during errorzone. These people don’t miss fleshwater and vein both put out insane records this year.
I found out about Vein, Living Weapon ad Fleshwater and started listening to them separately. Then found out they are basically the same people in the three bands (with a couple additions)

Math and chaotic influences of Converge and Botch, touches of Nu/Math metal by Mudvayne, tinges of the s/t of Slipknot and specks of Deftones in the cleans as in errorzone and doomtech.
pariah I could never nail down why I liked Doomtech so much, it definitely is the Deftones style to it, that must be it!

I'm usually a death metal fan, but since this style is pretty much dead, I find some thrill with these guys. Hardcore, in general, has some really cool death metal vibes every now and then.

These guys were one of my favorite bands at the time when i saw them open for Turnstile, Angel Du$t and ETID and it sucks that they only got 20 minutes and it felt like the crowd treated them like an opener band. They were so good.
