Bringing the band DJ back like it's 1999!
Blegh
This is like back when Fear Factory and The Deftones had DJs. Musically, in this configuration, the DJ is the lead guitarist. The rest of the band is holding down those tight rhythms.
You should check out his previous band Soaked In Dissolution. Came up watching this dudes bands and being homies with him, so stoked he's in Vein
Alex Nicholls Everyone is wondering “what exactly does that guy do” just like 99
@@blastbeatindustries3191 more like Slipknot did back in the day, Deftones in the 90s just uses samples for some shit, Slipknot put samples and turntabalism in another level
The synchronized 2 step at 13:47 is everything
Sodomized Seniors I wish I could like this comment an extra time.
Those 2 dudes know how to get down
Dude in the front 2 stepping is Sebastian from Regulate another great hardcore band from Long Island/Jersey Shore
deathicon holy shit I love regulate! I had no idea that was him lmao
@@Shadow-co4rz he's 2 stepping like theres no tomorrow
I want to marry that snare drum and live a long, happy life
Best wishes.
Str8 90s Helmet snare right ther
fucking same
I just pulled the strings on my hoodie real tight listening to this.
Hoodie? You need to get yourself a windbreaker ASAP
why is this so relatable?
10:32 That is the most perfect scream I have ever heard in my life
oh yeah ... and @ 9:49 the harmony scream w/ bassist.. !
Do these guys play children’s birthday parties?
Jessie Garcia nope, only 17th birthday chicks
Herwan Dinata ???
This whole band is fucking talented, but I couldn’t keep my eyes off their bass player when I saw them with killswitch. Dude goes off the whole set. Easily my favorite new band.
3:14-3:18 the bassist literally sounded like a bear growling dudes got some vocals
Das cuz the other guitarist is doing vocals too
He did like a small part in a live queensway show and dude had serious vocals , talking about the bass player , He could def lead a band if wanted
the lows are being done by the guitarist. watch again.
Hired Help X he did.
FUCKING GRIZZLEY!!!!
The bass player is truly so fucking incredible, the vocals and energy is unmatched. I saw them live recently and he truly just commands a room
0:17 you know it’s about to go down when the guitarist is head banging before the music starts
lmaoooo
Their bass player is freaking sick man...
bro got seal vocals, nuts
He does vocals for a vein side project called "Living weapon".
0:20 does this man not have bones in his neck
DAT BASS TONE IS HUGE
ampeg v4 and a stingray. yep.
@@tynanwaring3292 was gonna say...that combo is a punch in the dick

imagine '' THE CHARIOT '' in K! Pit live hahaha
The K Pit would vanish into oblivion
Was just thinking this... long live the chariot!
I saw The Chariot live at a dive bar once and my lip was busted literally 14 seconds into the show. great show!
I got my had split open by the bassist of the Chariot in a dive bar when I was like 12.
Long live.
What i love about watching this band, from start to finish they are at 100% and dont ever let up.

This band will get bigger and bigger like The dillinger escape plan and converge cause they got mad skills
Yes. They also have the appeal to transcend "genres" and scenes, much like the bands you mentioned. Reminds me of when "nu metal" was mainstream. They even have a DJ now! Bring on new Nu metal! Lol
Vein is undoubtedly the best windbreakercore band in the world.
Yo what’s the windbreaker meme
@@zergtoss1 check out their first performance at TIHC.
@@chromegnats ha thanks i will
0/10 for no windbreakers
Haha
Did you see the coat rack behind the drum kit?
I didn’t even notice how short this set was, so much energy, I hope it’s like this when I see them live
I couldn't mosh more than 15 minutes at this point in my life lmao
Also, can Will Putney just produce every hardcore album from here on out? Dude is a master.
For real yo.
I don't like monopolies
Please no.
He is using same drum samples for so many records. Ryan Boesch should produce lot of hardcore records, his mixing and engineering has much more dynamics. Listen to Gold by Whores or Redeemer from Norma Jean. All these records, without any samples.
@@jackcravford8744 could u give some examples? i've not noticed that
@@calebrobinson3144 Low Teens and Errorzone have same drum samples, mainly cymbals, how glued they are. Radical and new Vein record have same drum samples.
How that venue is still standing is beyond me after three of the gnarliest live bands, haha.
Haha fucking honestly. The metro Chicago show the night of open air still blows my mind though

Tony Palumbi or that other guy from undeclared and this is the end
more like Jay baruchel
LMAO almost spit my coffee out holy fuck.
Saw these guys about a year ago with Every Time I Die and my knees still hurt from when I slipped on all the sweat in the pit and slammed on my knees hahah Insane show.
One of the best performances I've seen. I love that have a DJ on stage. Literally brings a whole different vibe to the band in my opinion.

I saw Anthony DiDio at a grocery store in Boston yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.
He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”
I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.
damn, doesn't seem like the greatest guy
I fall for this shit everytime.
videos like this make the internet great
HELL YEAH VEIN AFTER K//L, BIG THANKS TO KERRANG!

JackPowellDrums you should check out hate5six
@@jeremy417k9 just started following him thanks man!
JackPowellDrums you can def binge watch all his vids imo
Quite the melting pot. Early Deftones, early Will Haven, some Glassjaw, a drop of Epic Fuel, a dash of The Chariot, some 36 Crazyfists and a hint of deep gravel growls akin to Derrick Green from Sepultura every now and then. Love it.
man you need some better reference points
Josh Bell You don’t hear those bands?
Lmao now that I think about it the vocals sounds like Grady Avenell
@@WeWereHereDVD his ref points are fine.

I've never thought that I would hear Alan Watts before metal show
hahahah same
*Hardcore
Check out Atma by Yob
That Deftones vibe. Nu metal and Hardcore influenced
Nu-metalcore is the name
Devin Townsend killed it on backing vocals and guitar
Neverheard this band before. They pretty fucking dope. They sorta remind me of real early On Broken Wings, JxCC era.
This was such a fun show
Every Vein show looks like a hell of a time!
I KNEW THAT WAS YOU!!! Lucky ass
Not a wasted second. Perfection.
Turnstile would be sickkkk
I hear a little Refused influence in the sound. Great set
Their album is bad ass. First time seeing them play.
my wish. you gave me, my wish. thank you. KERRANG !
By far the sickest recording of them. Short set but the editing on this tops Hate5Six's TIHC 2017/2018 videos and their 2017 Sound and Fury video.
Vein takeover.
Yeah hate5six is a different vibe he records actual shows which is cool to see. It's nice to see these bands play in a more made for video/audio recording setting too.
i think kerrang just has a bigger budget but maybe i’m wrong
10/10 for the Alan Watts intro
Whenever I watch this I can’t help but think Benno looks so much like a hyped asf Pete Davidson raging out in the corner of the stage lmao
The snare in this video man...
Need to see a Rotting Out K-pit performance. That would be sick
An awesome tiny show
As much as I adore Will Putney and his production, I hope Vein gets a chance to produce with Ross Robinson to make the Hardcore meets Nu-Metal aesthetic complete. Errorzone with production like Life is Peachy Korn or the Debut Slipknot record would be sound AWESOME!
This is an incredibly talented band. No other way to say it.
Billy Howerdel always writing good riffs.
“Go crazy go stupid ahhha haha... go crazy”
That drummer is a beast!
the best K! Pit episode
I would hand to say Daughters but, this is a close second.
Been killing it with these lately! Eyehategod or Weedeater would be fucking amazing for a future video!
Yo that spoken word sequence before the show started was sick. That last part hit me like a brick to the face, shits my reality.
Absolutely my favorite live performance of any band, this world is going to ruin you can’t drop soon enough.
Tightest rhythm section in a HC band i have ever seen
Bring Full of Hell next!
Saw vein with Jesus piece and hatebreed in September this year.. awesome show
