I'm in the same boat now a day's you really can't find a place or reasonable price for your sewing machine to be fixed, my step dad used to fix my sewing machine I learned a little but it gets frustrating when you can't fix it 😕 I appreciate this video ❤

Awesome video! I don't sew, but I needed to learn this technique. Do you think this would work for thicker fabrics and knits? I want to take up a one-shoulder knit garment in the shoulder. Just a straight-line stitch would help the garment fit better.
