Can we have a complete fulfilled department for BS degree?
Why I believe it is necessary ?
Having a complete department with professors / TAs fully dedicated to us we can increase the quality of education significantly. We have a large student strength so having a dedicated team of Profs. / Instructors etc will not be a waste of resources. I have felt courses which are led my the instructors , where the instructors are active in teaching . doubt clearing , discourse etc , the quality is better. Some demand were raised to have session once a week from the Prof. teaching the course , and I think Sane Sir had agreed to it also , Usha ma’am had also taken some live session. But why cannot this be a norm rather than exception. Moreover as we know we don’t have LOR support , which is indispensable today’s academic and professional applications. If we interact with our Prof. , the Profs. floats such project / research opportunities pertaining to their courses as like on campus institutes we can prove ourself and request for LoR , referencing etc. Also working & interacting with the course prof. will give us experiences and knowledge which no video lectures can ever fulfil. Those who remember Prof. Sudarshan , was quite invested with us , interacted with us , arranged coding competitions etc
Getting documents (like NOC , Character Certificate etc ) especially hard copy / or in some format as per application requirements or through the institution is nearly impossible. This gives us in a disadvantages. Many places the application requires Name , Phone Num & Email of the HOD / Principal etc to apply even. We have no such options in the degree.
I know we have a BS degree office separate etc. , but though it functions fairly well administratively , but my concern is the gaps to address the academic concerns and certain needs for the students who are doing this solely.

@@sumitjiyt Bhai , jee mains qualifiers ko direct admission milta hai toh qualifier exam ki khaas details maine dhyan nii di , but itta suna hai basic statistics, maths and aptitude aata hai , also English mandatory hai , kyoki lectures English me hi hote hain toh English vocab thodi achi honi chaahiye , laptop unhone recommend Kiya hai shuruaat se , but yt per Maine suna hai ki atleast 1st term tak koi need nii padti , toh samjhlo September ya jan se laptop ki jaroorat padegi , all the best bro 🙂👍🏻
