FirePrinceZuko 77 Ah yes, you're right on all accounts. But pick both consoles' best offerings in each genre. Example best RPG on each one. For me, SNES- Secret of Mana. Super Mario All Stars 9. Earthbound 10. Mega Man X Honorable Mentions: Yoshi's Island Kirby Super Star Super Castlevania IV Turtles In Time Contra III Tetris Attack Secret of Mana
I have a Game Boy Advanced, with Link to the Past and I still play it today. Almost 25 years after its production, and the game still stands up to titles on modern consoles.
Everyone has a different opinion, of course, but I still can't agree with a list that puts Super Metroid that low. I didn't think it was a matter of debate that it is in the top three (if not the best).
My Top 10: 10 - Street Fighter II Turbo 9 - Starfox 8 - F-Zero 7 - Super Mario World 6 - DK Country 2 5 - Final Fantasy VI 4 - Yoshi’s Island 3 - Chrono Trigger 2 - Zelda ALTTP 1 - Super Metroid Honorable Mentions: - Earthbound - Secret of Mana - Super Mario RPG - Castlevania IV - Mega Man X
Wow I'm so surprised this wasn't even an HONORABLE MENTION!! The game literally had like 100 levels, great music, very creative and diverse weapon arsenal, as well as with the bosses, and passwords rather than saving. I'm sure there's more I forgot, about what makes this game so great, but this definitely deserves to be SOMEWHERE IN THE TOP 10. Me personally would put it in the top 5 cuz Mega Man x, Zelda, Super Mario World, and Super Metroid are all tied with Zombies ate my neighbors for top 5.
+Michał SlenderMan at the end of the video they ask "do you agree with our list" to which justin is saying he doesn't. Just as they have their opinions he has his.

m a y h a i r it’s the second installment in the Paper Mario series. It’s an RPG with a turn-based battle system. It’s only on the Gamecube and hasn’t been rereleased as of March 2020. I haven’t played it, but i hear it’s fun.

Illusion of Gaia 10. Contra 3: The Alien War Honorable Mentions: Mega Man X, Mega Man X3, Mega Man 7 (the only reason these are just honorable mentions is because I tried to limit my list to only one from each franchise)
Josh Hawley I love the game, do not get me wrong, but I would not say it is too deserving of getting a spot on the top 10. It didn't define the system at the time and to this day there are better RPGs on the SNES such as SoM, CT, FF6, etc.
Josh Hawley Eh? Who are you talking to? I was saying that it's decent but doesn't deserve a top 10 spot while compared to other SNES RPGs. Imo it's a little off from the greatest.
Personal Ranking: 1) Super Metroid 2) The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past 3) Super Mario World 4) Chrono Trigger 5) Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island 6) Super Mario Kart 7) Mega Man X 8) Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy’s Kong Quest 9) Star Fox 10) Final Fantasy III
Luke Huber Final Fantasy VI, Street Fighter 2 and Super Mario World were better.... However one not mentioned on this list that was also better then Zelda was Super Black Bass....
Professor Mercury Chrono Trigger is outstanding. I played all these games when they first appeared, but out of all the games mentioned in this list and Chrono Trigger is the only one that gives me goose bumps thinking about. Sure you can claim Zelda is a better overall game, it probably is objectively, but nothing ever came close to the first time you played through Chrono Trigger. It's pretty much perfect, it's the closest videos games got in the 16 bit era to art. When all my friends traded in their SNES at the onset of the 32 bit area it was games like Chrono Trigger that meant I could never sell my SNES. Glad I didn't I don't think I could afford to buy FFIII, Chrono Trigger, Earthbound or Terranigma again, now they have been classed as collectible. Even before their cult, collectible status as a kid you could feel something was special about them, especially when you spent most of you time on nintendo jumping on blocks and doing karate kicks in peoples faces.
Ahhh, my favorite system. always has been and always will. - I think Super Metroid could have arguably been #1 with Link to the Past as #2, but that's just me - Star Fox, although I love the game is top 15, top 20 at best. You could have easily replaced it with Turtles in Time which I think is the definitive side scrolling beat 'em up for the SNES. While we're on the subject, Street Fighter 2 could have been omitted since it's multi-platform and it was originally an arcade game. Could have easily replaced it with Secret of Mana. - Glad to see you guys included Diddy's Kong Quest. Most list have the first one but I think DKC 2 was the definitive game in the trilogy. Just much more polished and complex compared to DKC1 Otherwise, great list!
10. Final Fantasy 3 9. Street Fighter 2 Turbo 8. Star Fox 7. Super Mario RPG 6. Super Metroid 5. Chrono Trigger 4. Donkey Kong Country Returns 2 3. Mario Kart 2. Super Mario World 1. Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past Honorable Mentions: Secret Of Mana Megaman X F-Zero Super Castlevainia IV Earthbound TMNT IV: Turtles In Times Killer Instinct Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island Earthworm Jim
John Haigh Super Mario kart has aged HORRIBLY. Not a bad game but doesn’t even come close to the DKC series. DKC2 is one of the best platformers of all time.
yeah, I think the Super Castlevania IV is way better and should be no.1 instead of THAT BULLSHIT franchise of THE CHUCKIN LEGEND OF ZELDA: A LINK TO THE PAST.!!!!!! THIS IS BULLLLLLLLLLSHITTTTTTTTTTTT!.
Because there are no Voices in the franchise man. All they show like in TLOZ: Twilight Princess, are grunts, laughs and text boxes. Whereas the animated series version of the game had good voices. I'll admit that show was crappy and all, but in my opinion, I think that they should put those voices in the Zelda games, just like what Hideo Kojima did with the Metal Gear Solid Franchise, they(The Zelda Games I mean) should have the same cinematic feel and brilliant voice acting, Zelda messed it up. So that's why I hated The Legend of Zelda franchise. Plus the Music is always looping on every Zelda game everybody plays. I think it's getting way to old. And on top of that The Legend of Zelda Franchise Should be banned..
1.- Zelda A Link To The Past 2.- Super Metroid 3.- Super Mario World 4.- Donkey Kong Country 2 5.- Yoshi's Island 6.- Judge Dredd 7.- Final Fight 3 8.- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV 9.- F-Zero 10.- Street Fighter 2 Turbo
As much as l like nowadays games such as GOW series, or COD, GT and the hyper realistic GTA, as well as recognizing that graphics are awsome and had been the aim of many videogames, you know, to get it improved, but I feel thar videogames have lost its charm. I mean, videogames with top graphics are more and more like imitations of reality than a paralel world that might not be as good looking, but inspired a lot more of imagination. I know kids arent the same anymore, but I miss the way a simple game like mario world, DK, top gear, even older ones like sonic, got me do involved by sparking my immagination. It's like reading a book compared to Watching a movie, no effects can match your mind.

Sooooo I rode my bike to Wal Mart and bought it ANYWAY HA HA HA. Got an ass whoppin and put on punishment BUT in the end....I had my game!
this was an awesome list ...thank god for the honorable mentions because without them you guys would have really needed to make a second part to this ...but awesome job Mojo!
Honestly I was more dissapointed to see Super Metroid get a #6 and Zelda got #1. I like what Zelda has to offer, such as switching between light and dark worlds to find secrets in accessible areas, but Metroid was just riddled with odds and ends with secrets everywhere. One such secret I liked was using the super bomb in the glass tubing area you use to transits screens to watch it explode into shards.
Everyone picks zelda because it's zelda there are better games out there its just that people are like oh yeah zelda soooo good, but chrono trigger is way cooler earthbound is better i think than link to the past. people have opinions and its weird that people who like zelda games haven't really played them.
I'm sick and tired of seeing Legend of Zelda shit on almost all your videos, gee whiz! xD Other than that great video. I would put Super Metroid at number one in my list.
I agree. I never got into Zelda, nor do I plan on it. I have most of the "top 25 N64 games of all time" and all of the top 10 if you take out Majora's Mask and the Ocarina of Time. I didn't realize until this video how few SNES games I actually had, although I made up for it with N64 titles.
Super Metroid should be number one. Link to the Past is my personal favorite but Super Metroid is still probably the best game on the system. It’s one of the best games of all time.
That game was hard as hell ( mainly because I played on Genesis), but what an awesome game it is! I agree about it being underrated, it needs more recognition.
Kevlar Vest Shit it was hard as hell on snes too! I barely and I mean barley beat with the help of a friend. All those levels seem like it took forever!

@@somerandofromoregon Yes. I personally think SMW2 is better than SMW, since it took everything SMW had, and expanded upon it, with a great soundtrack, creative art design, and Yoshi as the playable character.
A Link to the Past should not be #1, in my opinion. The concept of the Zelda games is not suitable for everyone. I had to use walkthroughs for Ocarina of Time, and now I'm wondering why it's suddenly regarded as one of the greatest games ever, especially with all the hullabaloo about the Water Temple. Super Mario World on the other hand, has a easy to use/understand concept of just making it to the end of a level, with no frustrating no-hints given puzzles that you can learn from and not get frustrated with from getting lost, and again, was a pack-in game. Arguably the best of all games packaged with systems.
I see you like easy to play games that require overpowered items to help you get through the levels, might I suggest using a game genie, or perhaps playing temple run and farmville? You dont even need to use a guide for farmville! While I dont think ALTTP necessarily deserves number one but I also dont think SMW is number one either. In terms of game play to skill needed to beat the games Watchmojo listed, DKC2 is probably the best to play. Of course you will need a guide before you try it, just a heads up, its a tough game.
Levi Parsley I do have a right to state my own opinion for one thing, and for another, Noob doesn't apply in this case. I've played through Zelda and gotten stuck several times. I don't find myself surprised that I've held off playing Majora's Mask and a Link to the Past after what I've been through in OoT. I have nothing against Zelda. I did not attack any Zelda players. I was basing this on the fact that there are probably other players like me who have the same thoughts.
Nado2134 Temple Run actually is enjoyable. But Farmville? You gotta be kidding. You're comparing a platformer to simulators and endless runners. Not to mention that I play my retro games on Virtual Console, so I can't use a Game Genie. Even if I wanted to, there'd still be stuff I missed that I'd like to see, which makes it more pointless. The DKC trilogy was removed for some odd reason, so I only got around to playing the original and Returns. But DKC is a platformer. The puzzles are incredibly easy in a platformer, hence why I mentioned SMW.
Age group was not my concern. There are some people who think and learn differently than others. As a victim of Asperger's Syndrome, I would know. What's the point of even having characters like Navi, Fi, and Midna if they don't even give you hints when you're lost in a temple?
#10 Final Fantasy III / VI (1994) #9 Street Fighter II Turbo: Hyper Fighting (1993) #8 Star Fox (1993) #7 Super Mario RPG: The Legend Of The Seven Stars (1996) #6 Super Metroid (1994) #5 Chrono Trigger (1995) #4 Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest (1995) #3 Super Mario Kart (1992) #2 Super Mario World (1991) #1 The Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past (1992) Honorable Mentions: * Earthbound (1995) * Earthworm Jim (1994) * F-Zero (1991) * Killer Instinct (1995) * Megaman X (1993) * Secret Of Mana (1993) * Super Castlevania IV (1991) * Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island (1995) * Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles In Time (1992)
Mario All Stars is my favourite SNES game because it has my favourite game of all time in it (MARIO 3!) but if that doesn't count then DKC2 is my favourite because first of all the GBA version of that game was the first game I ever played, and it took everything that made DKC1 great and multiplied it by 1000

1. Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past
2. Chrono Trigger
3. Super Mario World
4. Final Fantasty III (VI)
5. Super Metroid
6. Super Mario RPG
7. Donkey Kong Country 2
8. Super Mario All Stars
9. Earthbound
10. Mega Man X
Honorable Mentions:
Yoshi's Island
Kirby Super Star
Super Castlevania IV
Turtles In Time
Contra III
Tetris Attack
Secret of Mana
I have a Game Boy Advanced, with Link to the Past and I still play it today. Almost 25 years after its production, and the game still stands up to titles on modern consoles.
am I the only one who noticed he said that LoZ: aLTTP was "our pick for the number one NES game of all time"? because it was totally on the NES
Everyone has a different opinion, of course, but I still can't agree with a list that puts Super Metroid that low. I didn't think it was a matter of debate that it is in the top three (if not the best).
My Top 10:
10 - Street Fighter II Turbo
9 - Starfox
8 - F-Zero
7 - Super Mario World
6 - DK Country 2
5 - Final Fantasy VI
4 - Yoshi’s Island
3 - Chrono Trigger
2 - Zelda ALTTP
1 - Super Metroid
Honorable Mentions:
- Earthbound
- Secret of Mana
- Super Mario RPG
- Castlevania IV
- Mega Man X
Zombies ate my neighbors??? Goddamn, I loved that game...
Dee Day so underrated. Never gets boring and has some of the best music I've heard in a game. I wanna reboot of it
I agree !
Was just about to comment this!
Me personally would put it in the top 5 cuz Mega Man x, Zelda, Super Mario World, and Super Metroid are all tied with Zombies ate my neighbors for top 5.
it's pretty good
SNES was my childhood and loved most of the games shown on this list I loved that gaming system so much and still do 😍
Illusion of gaia deserves some love. One of the best snes rpg's
Terranigma too? Both terranigma and illusion of Gaia were amazing
Super Metroid should be higher
+Michał SlenderMan at the end of the video they ask "do you agree with our list" to which justin is saying he doesn't. Just as they have their opinions he has his.
+patrick watkins i don't care, yesterday i won against a 80 year old hag
Justin Hochman way higher
my top 5:
1) Super Metroid
2) Chrono Trigger
3) Zelda LTTP
4) Yoshi's Island
5) Super Mario World
FF6 in 10th place? Are you kidding me?
Quiel Evolution Gameplays Ikr it should be at least in 5
Quiel Evolution Gameplays Therw are better games
Bruno EPCO
It's just your opinion
Knowledge of Crusader What?i didn't even mentioned mario,im talkin' about Super Metroid,Chrono Trigger,DKC 2,and all that good stuff.
It should be #1
Earth bound being an honorable mention kills me
IKR!
To me, Chrono Trigger is my number one favorite in the snes list.
fuck yeah
HELL YEAH!
Mine is Zelda and Chrono, i'm going to play Secert of Mana real soon.
FUCK DAT ZELDA SHIT
mine is DK3, I think I'm the only one ;_;
So you put Super Mario Kart over Chrono Trigger?
...mm'k
+16bitgamer1121 Chrono Trigger should be number 1. It had everything that you would expect for a game. Great graphics, great background music, and GREAT story line.
+Leng Lee Forgot about gameplay
Daelion164 That's true, I did lol. Add gameplay to that XD
+16bitgamer1121 It's 2016 and people still give a shit about the order of the ranking in those Top 10 videos? LOL
+16bitgamer1121 because it was funner to more people. I didn't even like chrono trigger or any corny ass unrealistic turn-based rpgs.
wait, did you just say at the end the "best NES title of all time"?
They did indeed
He did lol
Don’t forget about Kirby Super Star and Kirby’s Dream Land 3
Kirby Super Star yes. Kirby Dream Land 3 no
@@GoogleHelpYou AGREE!!!
Megaman X should have been on the list.
it sould have been number 1....ego fan here!
Am I the only one here who loves Super Metroid more than The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past?
Yes you are.
ninjanizzle Yeah, looks like it.
same here brother
No your not. Too be honest link to the past is better than all the new version of any Zelda game.
Shin Akumaforu prepares for hate... I hate link to the past
2:12: "Subsequent Mario RPGs just haven't been able to scratch that itch."
Paper Mario, Paper Mario: TTYD, and Super Paper Mario: Am I a joke to you?!
Not to mention Mario and Luigi 3 and 4
Paper Mario: The Yhousand Year Door? What's that?
m a y h a i r it’s the second installment in the Paper Mario series. It’s an RPG with a turn-based battle system. It’s only on the Gamecube and hasn’t been rereleased as of March 2020. I haven’t played it, but i hear it’s fun.
@@Tiggster-qr8mw I know what it is. I was just pointing out that the commenter misspelled 'TTYD' as 'TYYD' in a funny way. And therefore, *'Yhousand* Year Door' instead of *'Thousand* Year Door'.
m a y h a i r oh my bad. I actually didn’t notice the misspelling 😂😂😂 i legit thought u didn’t know what TTYD is. Sorry
My top list:
1. Secret of Mana
2. Mega Man X2
3. Kirby Super Star
4. Zelda: A Link to the Past
5. Chrono Trigger
6. Earthbound
7. Super Mario World
8. Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy’s Kong Quest
9. Illusion of Gaia
10. Contra 3: The Alien War
Honorable Mentions: Mega Man X, Mega Man X3, Mega Man 7 (the only reason these are just honorable mentions is because I tried to limit my list to only one from each franchise)
A Link to the Past! Damn straight!
Great video. In my opinion the best videogame console ever.
Carlos,U r so right dude I traded a ps4 for one😃
Agree 100%
How is Earthbound only in honorable mentions?
Josh Hawley I love the game, do not get me wrong, but I would not say it is too deserving of getting a spot on the top 10. It didn't define the system at the time and to this day there are better RPGs on the SNES such as SoM, CT, FF6, etc.
Too many good SNES games!
***** Thanks dude, this sounds corny but it means a lot to finally have someone agree with me on that
For sure. Earthbound is the greatest.
Josh Hawley Eh? Who are you talking to? I was saying that it's decent but doesn't deserve a top 10 spot while compared to other SNES RPGs. Imo it's a little off from the greatest.
Super Metroid should have definitely been like 3 the ending was so f***** epic
Super Metroid, what an awesome game.
ElRealPetChicken Smooth graphics...fast AF running... Glorious Soundtrack...Creepy and mysterious AF levels & bosses.
Yes it was I never knew how I beat that game lol. I had a hell of a time that's for sure
next to Yoshi's island it's my favorite snes platformer
super metroid's prob more rpg but whatever
ElRealPetChicken I beat it 100 times and the most I got was 93% of the items smh
ElRealPetChicken My favorite.
I'm really proud of you Zelda and Imma let you finish, but Super Mario World was one of the best SNES games of all time! OF ALL TIME! [shrugs]
ALSO...Chrono Trigger's artwork was designed by Akira Toriyama (the guy who created DRAGONBALL!!), making it even more epic!
True
+Louis Monnich II are you serious? Toriyama is everywhere, he does character design for the Dragon Quest series also
Now that you mention it, I can see that! That dude is awesome!
I always thought that dbz looked similar to Chrono Trigger
Personal Ranking:
1) Super Metroid
2) The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
3) Super Mario World
4) Chrono Trigger
5) Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island

I do believe I have ten +1's
Terranigma is better
Super Metroid only at 6 ?! WTF Its freaking Super Metroid!
Unbeaten in atmosphere on the SNES.

Chrono Trigger is (quite possibly) the greatest game of all time.
Even before their cult, collectible status as a kid you could feel something was special about them, especially when you spent most of you time on nintendo jumping on blocks and doing karate kicks in peoples faces.
yuuuuup
+Professor Mercury Majoras mask is better
agreed.
No it's not, Shenmue is. Come at me.
Mega Man X is my personal favorite.
The OST is literally music to my ears! ;)
I mean that's what OST is. Music to your ears.
@@Vik1919 Literally.
Ahhh, my favorite system. always has been and always will.
- I think Super Metroid could have arguably been #1 with Link to the Past as #2, but that's just me
- Star Fox, although I love the game is top 15, top 20 at best.
Just much more polished and complex compared to DKC1
Otherwise, great list!
10. Final Fantasy 3
9. Street Fighter 2 Turbo
8. Star Fox
7. Super Mario RPG
6. Super Metroid
5. Chrono Trigger
4. Donkey Kong Country Returns 2

Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island
Earthworm Jim
I wish Mario RPG would come to 3DS VC
Yes
It comes to Wii U VC.
But you can play it on the emulator. 😉
One of the main reasons I got snes classic lol
Super Mario Kart is NOT better than DKC2 lol
Deats By Doctor Bre My thoughts exactly. That is blasphemy
Just a matter of preference I guess. I preferred the first DKC and Mario Kart over DKC2
Super Mario Kart takes a massive shit all over DKC2
John Haigh Super Mario kart has aged HORRIBLY. Not a bad game but doesn’t even come close to the DKC series. DKC2 is one of the best platformers of all time.
SMK was more revolutionary which is why it deserved to be higher regardless whether it was better or not.
F-Zero and Super Castlevania IV deserve more love.
yeah, I think the Super Castlevania IV is way better and should be no.1 instead of THAT BULLSHIT franchise of THE CHUCKIN LEGEND OF ZELDA: A LINK TO THE PAST.!!!!!!
The voices are no that good as my Old Buddy from Pakistan Munaum bilal said.
***** in a nutshell. OH HELL YEAHHHHHHHHH!
Right.
1.- Zelda A Link To The Past
2.- Super Metroid
3.- Super Mario World
4.- Donkey Kong Country 2
5.- Yoshi's Island
6.- Judge Dredd
7.- Final Fight 3
8.- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV
9.- F-Zero
10.- Street Fighter 2 Turbo
You're right. Games nowadays lost their charm (Nintendo games still have charm) because they're more like movies nowadays.
Star Fox above Final Fantasy VI? No way. But top 10 lists can never be agreed upon, its just impossible.
I agree with the list c:
chrono trigger at #5
GOODBYE CRUEL WORLD
I agree. It's number 1 to me.
Med too
still playing in 2019, i also recomend demons crest, earthworm jim, primal rage and fatal fury
My list wouldve included Sim City. One of my favorite SNES games.
You put super mario kart over megaman X, Chrono trigger and super metroid?
I say this is madness
How did Legend of the Mystical Ninja not make even the honorable mentions?
Yeah that was a pretty awesome game too.
Mine
10 Star Fox
9 F-zero
8 Earthbound
7 Yoshi Island
6 Super Metroid
5 Super Mario RPG Legend of the seven stars
4 Donkey Kong Country
3 Super Mario Kart
2 The legend of Zelda A link to the past
Honorable Mentions
Donkey Kong Country 2 Diddy Kong quest
F-Zero
Earth Bound
Super Castlevania IV
1 Super Mario World
Why would you honorably mention a game already in your top 10🤔
super metroid is number 1 for me
Same
Yup just hearing the music gave me chills. So atmospheric
absolutely, played through it so many times and still get the itch to replay it yet again
Agreed
No question super metroid the best overall Nintendo game ever
Megaman X, Turtles in Time, Bomberman and Super Mario World are the best ones, imo.
Diogo BP
You have a great taste in the good old SNES. Super Bomberman was one of the first SNES game at played on multipayer.
6:15 "Best NES title"? Go home WatchMojo, you're drunk.
Have you ever played the game? It truly is better than almost anything

My list
5.earthbond
4.kirby super star
3.the legend of zelda links awakening
2.SUPER METROID
1 SUPER MARIO WORLD
zelda, chrono trigger, and super metroid are my favorites :)
Well, the obvious mistake here is having Final Fantasy III all the way down at #10, but at least the greatest game ever made is #1.
My fav has to be Turtles in Time. Simply because I was in the 4th grade when it came out. I saved my little money to get it and my mom told me no! I could not buy a video game.
Super Mario RPG NEEDS to come out on the New Nintendo 3DS.
I was hoping for it on the 3ds for so long. I never got why it was on the wii but not the 3ds.
Not an easy list to make, WatchMojo did a decent job.
Castlevania 4, turtles in time and FUCKING EARTHBOUND as an honorable mention?!?!?? I think im gonna be sick
MAKEOUTHILL XXX *M🌎THER FAN SPOTTED!!!* I understand you my friend
Super Mario World is my favorite Super Nintendo game on the SNES on my switch
Zelda games taking the #1 spot on list...sure is getting old, especially when it's the sub-par games. Like Ocarina of Time above Majora's Mask.
Mario is better then link that's why sonic was made to be come rivals and to make link look bad
Everyone picks zelda because it's zelda there are better games out there its just that people are like oh yeah zelda soooo good, but chrono trigger is way cooler earthbound is better i think than link to the past. people have opinions and its weird that people who like zelda games haven't really played them.
I think Super Mario World or Star Fox on 1st place (both of them are my favourite), but it was Zelda ! Sucks !
chrono trigger had much more than both of those games.
I'm sick and tired of seeing Legend of Zelda shit on almost all your videos, gee whiz! xD Other than that great video. I would put Super Metroid at number one in my list.
Zelda games are too good lol
like final fantasy is the mother of the RPG zelda is the mother of the long historys in video games
Yeah I guess you're both right, but I myself being among the Atari and early NES generation never really got into those games.
I love Legend of Zelda but I have to agree with you here. Super Metroid is by far the best game ever.
I agree. I never got into Zelda, nor do I plan on it. I have most of the "top 25 N64 games of all time" and all of the top 10 if you take out Majora's Mask and the Ocarina of Time. I didn't realize until this video how few SNES games I actually had, although I made up for it with N64 titles.
The song that played during the Honorable Mentions was really good
It's from turtles in time
+Ole Olsen love that game!!☺
I know right!!
Super Metroid should be number one. Link to the Past is my personal favorite but Super Metroid is still probably the best game on the system. It’s one of the best games of all time.
how is Megaman X and X2 not on this list???!!
What? No Zombies Ate My Neighbors? That game is too underrated.
THIS! WHERE ARE ZOMBIES ATE MY NEIGHBORS?
Agree!!! zombies ate my neighbors is one of a kind
couldnt agree more shoulde been on the list
That game was hard as hell ( mainly because I played on Genesis), but what an awesome game it is! I agree about it being underrated, it needs more recognition.
Kevlar Vest Shit it was hard as hell on snes too! I barely and I mean barley beat with the help of a friend. All those levels seem like it took forever!
Chrono trigger is one of the greatest game of all time

6. Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars
5. Tetris Attack
4. Super Mario World
3. Yoshi’s Island

I would've put Donkey Kong Country 2 at number 1...
Liam Brunet Yeah! My top 5:
5. Mega Man X
4. DKC1 & 3
3. Super Metroid
2. Yoshi's Island
1. DKC2
I agree. Best game on the console hands down
Liam Brunet any you would have been on your fucking own
No, because DKC2 is not as good as other SNES titles. It's a masterpiece but Mario World and Super Metroid are far better.
@@somerandofromoregon Yes. I personally think SMW2 is better than SMW, since it took everything SMW had, and expanded upon it, with a great soundtrack, creative art design, and Yoshi as the playable character.
this was a satisfying list. even though I had a bias toward Secret of Mana I wouldn't swap out anything on the list for it.
Great list, terrible order! -_-
yeah agreed lol
When I saw Super Mario World as nr.2 I was completly in the dark about the nr.1. Then I saw number one and I was like: yeah, there should be no other.

Chrono Trigger at only 5, what a joke easily deserved number 1
Mario All Stars is my favourite SNES game because it has my favourite game of all time in it (MARIO 3!) but if that doesn't count then DKC2 is my favourite because first of all the GBA version of that game was the first game I ever played, and it took everything that made DKC1 great and multiplied it by 1000
