Just woke up from a nightmare, thanks for helping me calm down. 🤗💜
I’m sorry that happened
It was insane how you just easily draw this hand without any sketch! 7:54
Muscle memory, she's probably done it a million times before
For layering just fyi for anyone: try to start with thin layers and get thicker on top, never the other way around, and also let the pain dry all the way through. Just because it looks dry and feels dry to the touch doesn't mean it is. When you really don't want paint to lift wait until it doesn't feel cool to the touch anymore and then wait another 10min at least. It also helps to work with softer watercolour brushes on top layers, stronger bristle brushes lift paint up much more. Same principles as for watercolour really, just much more noticable.
pros of being broke: doesn't have money to buy things I don't need
cons of being broke: doesn't have money to buy thing I don't need
These are facts right there
OHHH ok let me just quickly sketch THE MOST PERFECT INTRICATE FLOWER HOLY SHIT
I thought the same thing!
Lol 😂
Holy S**t that was squad
And then she covered it up. I died a little inside.
I too hoard my art supplies like a little gremlin
I've been seeing so many artists playing with this gelly gouache and I'm loving it to the point that I put it on my Christmas list.
So i just realized that MIYA, HIMI, and Arrtx might all be the same company? I checked my old purchase and it redirected to those other brands 🤔 Also the palette is 56 colors for $59✨
Yeah they're all under the same umbrella. Have you seen this set for cheaper? I saw it on Amazon for the same price.
They aren’t the same company. Miya Himi is one company and Arrtx is a another company that made a similar product.
@Lisabëth Rosemöon Magical Drawings the colors and everything are different. Arrtx just ripped of the design.
@@colorfulmessart3953 ooof it's not a ripofff it was a collab by miya and another company
@@iversonlopez8538 a collab with Miya and arttx?
Geeeez even your 'extra paint' smudges look like a beautiful art piece haha!!
Anytime I see someone draw with their left hand it trips me out. Also these paints look really nice, I hope I can try some out someday☺
i don’t need it i don’t need it i don’t need it
Ends up buying it in the end lol
BUY IT
I bought it....

OMG YES I feel the same 😂
The swatch card ended up looking like some cool abstract art
This is fantastic. Really beautiful work here. Well done.
I’m so excited to get my hands on some jelly gouache!! I think I’m gonna try the HIMI 24 set 💖
The way the paper is holding the paint. What kind of sketchbook is that?
I was looking for that too. She shows in this video: ruclips.net/video/6Dkkk7H2hFk/видео.html It is from Arteza.
That's such a creative way to swatch the paints!!!
I was just looking at this set, it's so pretty! Btw, The styrofoam is meant to help prevent the gouache from drying out if you prefer them to stay moist longer at least that's what I've been told I've fallen in love with gouache it's become one of my top three mediums. Thank for the review.
I loved this video so much !! I got the same Himi palette as a gift and was scared to use it since I’ve never tried gouache before but this really inspired me!! I’m super psyched to use it now !!! The portrait was beautiful btw !!! 💕
Oohhh, jelly gouache! The piece also looks absolutely adorable too!
I love how flat matte these dry!! Such a cool look.
They also make a solid watercolor set that is awesome! Good to see you again!
That soundset eyes track is cool!
Cool jellis
That pallet!! 😍🤤😍 It is so prettyyyyy. Don't worry girl I treasure my art supplies too! 😂 I get it. Glad someone out there is weirdly obsessed with their art supplies like me haha. Love the video-thanks for sharing your art with the world ❤️🥰
How can you stick stickers on things without feeling bad
I buy extras of my favorite stickers and only stick them on things I use everyday like sketchbooks, water bottles, and laptops so they last a long time😍
i got this problem since childhood - and you know what? When you don't use stickers you just slowly get bored of them and there will be a moment when you realise that you don't like them at all and don't even want to use them anymore ( maybe in a few months, maybe in a few years it will happen eventually). At the same time you will be upset because you remember how much your younger self wanted to use them. So don't leave the things that you wanna try, that applies not only to stickers, but to everything like paints, stationary etc. Things are meant to be used not wait for better time that won't ever come.
@@maryianna912 i feel this, but game form there's this game i didn't use anything and thought "in the future i can use this!" now it feels more bad not using them [trial cards for guns to try out etc]
Stick it on something youll have for a really long time (sketchbooks, laptops, jars)
wow i like the drawing! i have never used jelly gouache so it seems pretty interesting to try
I can’t wait to finish off my two regular size himi jelly Gouache pallets so I can get the giant pallet 😍 I use gouache for backgrounds, so I don’t have to use up watercolor for large areas.
The way you used the paint on the lids is clever and looked pretty !!!
Really liked the end painting too !
that's what I was thinking!!!
I love the stickers on your sketchbook! Sheesh girl your artistic touch is all over!
Love this! I could look at your art for hours
Usually when workin with gouache, you have to prepare the surface with gesso, the colors are more vibrant, and it comes off as more opaque
Really? I’ve never done this or seen anyone do it. I’ll try it out!
Wow i found recently when I gessoed my paper the miya gouche paint didn't go down well at all and I had to switch to acrylic...! I thought it had made it harder, what's your experience, as I'm new to gouache
@@SandyGaskettArt I never gesso my paper and my colors come out vibrant 🤷♀️ never has any issues
Just love this! Gorgeous and wish my hair could be as gorgeous as hers lol. Its beautiful! Have an amazing day!
Wait omg I just received my jelly gouache yesterday... this Video is more than Perfect omg!! Thank you!
I like your style keep up the good work!!
i love the colour
Your mixing palette is so cute 😍
Love this!!!! 🤍
🤩🤩🤩wonderful all
I just love it !!! It really looks like it's a printout of a digital art , but it's so great to see u making it soooo beautifully 🥺❤️
Eighteenth! I love your art so much! These paintings and sketches are so beautiful, and the paint OMG. I’ve been having so much art block lately but this has inspired me soooooo much! Thank you for still expressing your art with the whole world! :)
idk what it is but something about how you twirl your pencil around while you're thinking is really charming lol. wonderful video 💕i love my himi miya gouache set for studies and stuff, it's lasted 2 years now and has a whole lot of paint left!
Hey hey first. It looks like the grid is 7×8 so it should equal 56
I love this gouache, I wish I knew about the big pack before I got the 18 pack😂
The big pack is just the same colors you have, but with white and grey added to them. You're better off with your set, bc this set is lesser quality. If you want more colors, just mix them yourself.
@@YourMajesty143 that’s honestly a relief😅
@@thatartistember4675 - Yeah this set is streakier than HIMI, less opaque than Artxx, and less malleable than Arteza. Plus bc of the titanium white that was added in to make the pastels, the texture is chalky. It's better to mix with Zinc White, bc it lightens without the chalkiness or dullness. Besides, why pay someone to mix colors for you, when the most fun part about playing with paint is when you get to mix & create your own tones/tints!
@@YourMajesty143 that is so true, mixing and making your own colours is great🥰
Wow I really wanna this colour palette ☺️🤗
Love those MIYA brushes! What was the coupon code for the standing desk?
OMG your work are soo beautiful 😍 I hope I can paint like you one day 💗
I use a piece of ceran wrap over my himi paints to reduce that spreading issue....still messy but not as much
I loved your artwork
Someone know the brand of that sketchbook? I just loved it😍😍
just purely amazing
I love your work! Been following you for a while. 😁
It looks so pretty I just got the 18 himi set 🤩✨✨
that looks nice. really nice
i’m in loveee with how vibrant the colors are 🤩 your work is so inspiring :)
That would make such a cute sticker sell :) this video is awesome!
Me: wow those are such a good sketches and paintings, how, what, when…. Why are they so good
a concept is just those but HUGE and only the primary colours- those would last a long time and you can mix anything
woah those flowersssssss omggggg my heart breaks when you painted over it :(
Finally this is the review on the Himi or Miya brand I have been looking for.
I didn't knew you can get this paint so flat and opaque like that. And I noticed the Nemupan sticker, I love those.
Just a question if is it good to add water with the Miya Gouche, if I'm aiming for the out come of the paint to be opaque like what you did with your art piece?
Just a small amount of water is good since they’re already jelly, I will just dip my brush in the water and mix it on my palette a small amount at a time. You kind of just have to test it for yourself, once it’s starts to get transparent you’ve gone too far.

OMG the C O L O U R S yees I want them 😫
They are the tools of our minds therefore, precious.
omg that gouache palette is the shit 😍😍😍😍
Hi! I wanted to know what is that red pencil you're using in the beginning before painting?
Really enjoyed watching the video.. Such delicious colours!
Me watching your detailing 👁👄👁
Wow. Your immaculate painting skills have officially inspired me! I also love your style. Damn. Okay subscribing now bye!
I’m of the opinion that the most expensive art supplies you have are the ones you don’t use. 😁
I heard another RUclips artist say that acrylic gouache is basically acrylic paint with a matte medium added so it has a flat color like gouache. Don’t know if that’s true or not.
I love your videos so much!!!
ooo pretty brushes pretty drawing...pretty-ness all around (づ。◕‿‿◕。)づ ive been wanting a standing desk for awhile ...so cool!!
Even your video compositions (I don't know if that's even the right term... Camera angles?) are beautiful!
Still learning with the himi gouache. Doing shading ,I am loosing it a bit
Ahh I’m curious to know if that’s a silicone paint palette you’re using, and where it’s from?

Live in an upstairs apartment and dropped my himi paints trying to carry all my art stuff up the stairs :( very messy now but good hing hey mix well so it honestly doesnt bother me other than the minor ocd

Where is this mixing tray from?
I was going to look into these types of paints but I saw something about if you dont keep them moist they'll curdle? Is this an issue you've seen with your paints?
anybody know the product she is using to mix her paints on? the stone looking paint pallete? it looks so pretty
