BMW 5 Series e60 Rust Repair Boot Lid/Tailgate
Hi everyone and welcome to another Bimmer Fixer video.
In this video I will be dealing with some unwanted rust on the boot lid of my e60. A lot of the e60 is aluminium but there is steel in the boot lid that has started to rust. So, in this video I will show you how to deal with that rust and repair and repaint it the boot lid.

@A J...Hi there thank you! I was planning on wet sanding but I got a lovely finish just with the polish after painting but I was expecting to have to wet sand before the polish, I think I just got lucky. But I would definitely wet sand then polish if i didn't get a nice enough finish. Hope this helps and thanks for the comment 👍🏻
