- Warbird Roundup rocked an F-35 demonstration and formation flight with a pair of P-40 Warhawks from Warhawk Air Museum at Nampa, Idaho on Saturday, 28 August 2021. We spent most of the day far away from any PA loudspeakers, so you will hear optimal engine sounds like we did out on the field. Four P-51 Mustangs aloft together; a symphony of radial R-2800 power from a trio of P-47 "Dottie Mae", F4U-1A Corsair, and F8F Bearcat; a rare pair of Taylorcraft L-2s and a Piper L-4; Texans, derivatives, and a chugging T-28. Around 18 warbirds of various makes and models flew, some several times, during the day.
So kick back and listen to the warbirds as they cross your screen. And thank you for subscribing to the Airailimages Channel on RUclips.

Ohh the sounds and smells of big iron
Thanks again for a wonderful video. This old Marine is grateful for all you do. It's wonderful to see these historic warbirds flying again. God bless you and your family! 👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸😊
Our pleasure!
Thank you so much for this great video! As one a bit north of 70 years, son of a WWII soldier who served in the Pacific and a Vietnam era Navy veteran. In love with airplanes since a young boy and my heroes were men named Bong, Foss, Gentile, Kepford, Maguire, and Preddy. These WWII fighters in flight are always a special treat. With my gratitude for you hard work and long hours producing these videos I wish you 'Blue skies and tailwinds'.
Thank you very much for your gracious comments. Makes it worthwhile.
Thanks for the post !
Greetings from Brazil !

I look forward to Warbird Roundup every year. Glad I can share video with you. Thanks for watching.
Wow the hot ones from WW2, glad to see the P-47 that was recovered from the lake there. Both aircraft that represent Bud Andersens rides is great. Sounds were wonderful, so many, wish I could talk about them all day.👍👍👍👍👍🇺🇸❤
And thank you for watching!
Finally someone who knows how to shoot props with a digital camera.
Thanks!
We were there as part of the displays. You did a great job of covering the wonderful planes. To get everything in , the video would be 6 hours long. Great show, always something moving. Thanks for being there.
Thank you for your kind comments. Yes, a lot going on; interesting vintage vehicles and arms; much to see.
Super video, thank you on for sharing it with. Nothing today has that sound of a BIG radial or an Allison ... 🇺🇸
Glad you enjoyed it
Love seeing these fly over my house in formation....
Thank You so much, I enjoyed every minute of Warbirds and beautiful Blue Sky. Thanks to all the Pilots and Those who "keep Them Flying".
Glad you enjoyed it! Yes, the pilots and restorers and maintainers get our thanks.
I was there for this show. Such a great event. Hope to make it again in the future.
Yes, it is a good event to look forward to. Thanks for watching.
I'm usually a Corsair 'drooler', but that Bearcat is amazing. It's all engine and prop.
Great video work, Fred! I appreciate the detail regarding the F-35's performance. That was some really cool editing work. and it looked like you had a great day there. Good for you!
Yes, it was a great time. And thank you for your kind comments.
Thank you for posting this! I used to live right next to this airport and would love seeing the Warbird Roundup each year. Now that I live across the country I'm glad I still get to experience it.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I would like to get a ride in that 2 seat P-51. Great show as always by Airailimages. Thanks
Thanks for watching!
Great Videoagraphy! Thanks!
Richard
You are welcome. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Great to see another P40 in the colours of the 49th fighter group, there's one here in Australia as well. On occasion at airshows it flies with the RAAF coloured P40 representative of the close relationship between the 49th and the RAAF P40s that flew side by side during WW2, sometimes from the same bases in New Guinea until the 49th changed to the P38.
Always enjoy seeing aircraft of the Pacific war. And thanks for watching and commenting.
Beautiful video wonderful
When Dottie Mae went by I could sworn the was Capt. Wild Bill Kelso behind the stick.
He flew a P-40 Warhawk
Awesome video!! Question: what is the aircraft taking off at 5:47?
A replication of the pre-war North American NA-50 export fighter; this aircraft uses a lot of T-6 Texan components.
Excellent. Too they didn't have a P-38 fly with the F-35. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it
Is that stevo in the f8f?
Are there any flying single-seat P-51D's left in the the world?
Once in awhile you will see one at a larger warbird air show.
Yes there are many
