@@Blegh_bree Carbon has better detail than NFS MW 2005's sounds. Even NFS PS. Sorry to say but the sound processing is one of the worst from all Black Box (not as bad as NFS The Run or NFS HP 2) but compared to NFS UG2 it is an downgrade.

But again you also mentioned that cars share sounds. For example in carbon the Supra the Skyline the Brena the 350z and so on all share the same sounds. In hot pursuit so many cars share the same sounds. Older need for speed games compared to most modern racing games sound better. If we forget that cars share sounds in all of these games for a moment think about it like this some of the modern games have some incredible sounds. Modern need for speeds for example have some amazing sounds. But for some of the cars such as the skyline it doesn’t sound as good as previous iterations. Hence people on PC a who have access to mods such as the Unite mod for NFS heat. It uses some of the older sounds for the cars. A prime example of poor sounds are grand turismo. NFS undercover. Some cars from hot pursuit or most wanted 2012. The list goes on.
@@Blegh_bree Well, ironically Ghost nailed the R34 Skyline. This is pretty much how stock Twin-Turbo Skyline sounds like. The R32 sounds like it is been a bit modified with a single turbo. Even Black Box recorded Twin-Turbo Skyline that for the first time used in NFS Undercover like the Carbon's unused Zonda sound. In fact Black Box had to take Brian's R34 sound from 2F2F like Pierce's Eclipse sound and some others which some of them were used as ambient sound like when he revs the car. But itself the R34 Skyline sound from 2F2F is not a pure RB26DETT sound. It is a mix of 2JZ, RB30 and RB25 single turbo mainly and small % is actually RB26 but not Twin-Turbo with HKS single turbo and Tubilar exhaust. All sounds from Fast and Furious are like that.
