You are doing awesome things! Thank you for cleaning up the homeless mess on China Hat. It’s sad that citizens have to dedicate their time and efforts to clean up a preventable problem. You guys are solid humans!!
There is a hierarchy with homeless people. Those with running vehicles are "almost" not homeless, some do work and sometimes manage to recover. That is the reason why so many of these vehicles look like repairs had been started. There is a real desperation amongst these people to not end up with a car that does not run because then they are just a moment away from being on the street for real.
Hello everybody, really did a wonderful JOB getting rid of the old cars in the woods, and the parks look very BEAUTIFUL AND SAFE AGAIN TO GO FOR WALKS ETC. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK. WE NEED MORE PEOPLE WHO CARE ABOUT THE CLEAN UP IN THE FOREST AND PARKS. HELLO CASEY.

It seems like it would have been a lot more efficient to bring in (if available!) a shredding machine and roll off containers to shred those vehicles and put the shredded material into the containers for carting out. The next biggest problem (and possibly insurmountable) is oil and other fluids coming from the shredded engines, axles etc. Maybe bring up the idea to the organizers?
