The amount of coordination and care required to produce high-quality butter at this scale is truly impressive. Hats off to the people behind the scenes
@@thefinalusa i was being sarcastic. They’d be out if business if they’d add some harmful stuff into food products. Food processing facilities and food products are supervised by government agencies and they would eventually get caught.
this video was really informative and I loved the way you presented the butter-making process. however, I can't help but wonder if the industrial methods used in factories compromise the taste and quality of butter compared to small, artisanal producers. what do you guys think?
Definitely people handling food should wear long thick gloves. It defeats the purpose of pasteurization if you do not because your hands carry bacteria.
That's an interesting point! How effective are gloves compared to other hygiene practices in preventing contamination, especially in food processing? And are there any new technologies or methods being developed to ensure food safety beyond just wearing gloves?
great video! really loved how you detailed the butter-making process. however, i can't help but wonder if the mass production methods used in factories compromise the quality compared to small-scale artisanal butter. what do you all think?
It's because they give milk and you don't. Just joking be grateful for what you have. There are many on this earth who are in more miserable conditions than you
I see that you do not divulge the factories that you visit, and I wonder why. But here you've used India's Amul factory and mixed it with another European factory. Btw, at Amul, the complete process is hands-free while in France, for instance, butter is mixed with bare hands. And just as Manteca Ghee is made in USA, it adds to my curiosity , if not confusion. Thanks anyway.
Hm, this isn't as straightforward as I thought it would be! At 0:55, the labels on the truck says 'Amul,' which is made in India. But at 0:58, we see a different truck with a German licence plate. Amul butter is made in India. But I guess much of the video footage was shot in a different factory of different brand, somewhere in Germany.

They both are different, butter is made from creamy part of milk, or even from curd. It doesn't involve any heating process. But ghee on the other hand is made from either heating the butter or cream in milk. Which totally removes the milk particles. Chemical change occurs when butter change to ghee, hence not reversible. Since butter has milk solid in it , it should be consumed within 20-30 days. But ghee can last long 6-8 months considering no preservatives and cold temperature is maintained. Ghee is replacement for oil.

I’ve made butter. It’s excellent. Just cream and a bit of salt for salted butter. Omit the salt and its sweet cream butter. No bad ingredients.
