Just doubled the batch and made 8 large buns. BEST GLUTEN FREE BUN EVER. So much flavour and turn out soft with a hard crust. I made black bean burgers and used these as buns. They didn’t fall apart or crumble. Perfect for vegan+gf besties
Cool! Thank you! The next thing I will prepare ❤ No psyllium husk was what I was looking for!
This is fantastic. Bread/buns without psyllium husk. I had a stroke and have a swallowing problem and psyllium husk is a no no. Now i can have delicious and healthy bread. Thank you. Two thumbs up 👍👍
thanks so much "without psyllium husk" because i am very allergic to it! makes me limbs go wobbly and loose movement ...thanks!
Red lentils water olive oil turmeric mint chili powder garlic powder salt baking powder flaxseed. 350 degrees for 25 minutes. I think I would leave out the mint
Just made these for the second time. They are quite dense so quite filling but so delicious they smell so nice too. I make a mould with foil lined with baking paper and make 4 rolls that are a bit thicker
Thanks again I found dis one where u don't hv to use physillum husk so I will definitely make dis one thanks again fr sharing
Yummy bread

Very good recepice 💜💙💚🧡❤️
Is this entire recipe written somewhere? I need to convert to ounces.
can i grind the lentils into a powder instead?
Yayyy!! I’m going to try this today!!
😮😊MUCHAS GRACIAS 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thank you for this recipe without psyllium husk! I am wondering, could I add baking soda and vinegar if I want to make rolls that are a bit puffier?
Yes, using baking soda and vinegar instead of baking powder will also work!
Wonderful ! Thank you so much
Question: Do the chia seeds have to be soaked before grinding? Thanks!
No, I didn't soak them before grinding.
Nice recipe! How many buns does the recipe make?
Thank you! The recipe makes five buns.
Thank you
I can't use oil, can I omit it?
Do you absolutely need the oil? Is there something that can be substitute that is not an oil like a banana or apple sauce?
Thank you so much for the recipe, if I don't have a hand held mixer, can i just put the red lentils in a food processor along with the oil and water? Thanks!
Yes, that should work!
@@foodoctor thank you!!!
Does this work well in a loaf pan? Thanks
Can this be made as a loaf of bread!
Thx for vdo. Plz DELETE MUSIC. I would rather hear ur kitchen sounds, chopping, sizzlibg, cooking & kitchen sounds👍🤩‼️Plz post recipe in the description box. Thx & God bless u🪷☀️
Has anyone tried to toast the buns? Let me know.
Along with a few of your subscribers, I would like to know if the recipe can be made without oil or if a vegan substitute can be used? Thanks
What does it taste like?
I don't think my food scale is fine-tuned enough for 20 grams and such... 🤷 Would anyone have the measurements in spoons or cups, please? 😞
How long can I store it in the fridge without spoiling
About 3 days.
Is it still okay if I just let is soak for 1 hour?
The lentils might not be soft enough to puree by then. Maybe you could try the "quick soaking" method - put the lentils in a pot with water, bring to a boil and immediately take off the heat. Put a lid on and let stand for an hour or two. That's for _cooking_ legumes, though; I never tried with baking. 🤷
can they also be made from green lentils?
I’ve never tried using green lentils for this recipe, but I have used 1/2 green and 1/2 red lentils mix for the buns made with psyllium husk. One person commented that they’ve made the buns using only green lentils after soaking them for four hours and it worked well but that too was the recipe with psyllium husk.
@@foodoctor Thank you very much.
