I'm excited to see radar results. I switched from Bauer Supreme years ago to Combat 52 Cal (became the True A5.2) because I was getting a couple more mph on my clappers

Love the Bauer sticks , been using them for years, but first thing I thought seeing the hole in the blade is " gimmick " . A lot of sticks are very similar , look similar etc, only so much companies can do to set them apart, so it seems like just a way to grab customers attention because it's different. I haven't tried it , but that's my first impression .
How would you compare the new AX9s kickpoint compared to the previous SBP generation and also did you try the HT as well? Their original low kick

Absolutely a preference thing right? You prefer the soft blade for that high end puck feel because of your player style of sweet hands and an accurate shot. Someone who likes a harder shot or maybe doesn’t value that puck feel near as much as you would prefer the ADV right? Anyway great video Pavs. You’re a legend bud!!
Yeah I would say so. It just depends what you're playing style is and then its matching a stick to where you are your most dangerous.

The Bauer has a noticeable amount of power behind it when you remove your legs from the equation, at least from my perspective, maybe it’s the curve- p92 always made me launch pucks even when I wanted a flat shot

I don't think you can really compare the two. I mean there both made different. However using the stick the way it was intended to be used would change the shot or the accuracy right. I mean you have a stiff blade versus a less stiffer blade.

I am way late to this vid, but these two sticks have different kick points, don’t they? AX9 being a low kick point for quick shots and the ADV a mid kick point for power? I would say the AX9 would be great for a quick shot through the legs of a defender while the ADV may be better suited for a one timer on the power play. In the end it is all personal preference.

Evan Jimenez I wasn’t using that in the shooting video. I used that blade tape on a pond hockey trip when the blade constantly got snowy. Easier to get snow off

Canada. I live in Calgary and ODRs are every few blocks or so. I'm pretty sure this was filmed in Toronto or the GTA, if I'm not mistaken.

Super_Jimmy 19 I didn’t use blade tape on the AX9 for the shooting video just had that at my house for the outro. I use the blade tape for pond hockey when it gets snowy. Personally I hate shooting with those and I’m less accurate with them
I personally like the Adv better but that’s my opinion

This testing makes no sense, in a game u will never get 3 seconds dead infront of the net to take shot, it doesn’t happen u should skate around and take shots from everywhere to get a feel for it
I don't need to be skating around with a puck to be able to analyse what I'm trying to for the purpose of this video. I had tested these sticks for 2 weeks total prior to shooting this video so this wasn't my first time shooting with them and I had been skating around taking lots of shots.

Colin Mully Yes of course that’s true lol. But if I use a wooden stick vs a Bauer ADV I’m going to be more accurate with the ADV. The stick doesn’t do it all but it plays a significant role. Same with shot power
Pavel Barber agreed but, honestly I think u could be just as accurate with the wooden stick. The power will be less but the accuracy won’t be a big change between the two.

Idk. Both sticks seem like a gimmicky scam to me. I've yet to see anyone give any science behind having a giant hole in your blade, but they all speak highly of the stick. Smells like shady paid promotions selling useless tech

Lemmin Joose I lean both ways in this argument. I can definitely understand your point but I think it just comes down to what you feel as you use it. I personally use the trigger3 as my 4 already broke but still do not see any differences between them in shot power and accuracy. In the end it’s the archer not the bow
@@connormichel6010 I guess that's the main point. I don't mind these guys selling what looks to me like a gimmick, it's all about the individual's preference. I just hate that every video I've seen so far implies it's some kind of miracle invention.
