Those cords, the strings are amazing!
everytime I connect the headphones after a moment of weakness i shout thank the gods !
I made this video. :) Thanks for posting it here! Did you get this on the Hub? I didn't know it was ciculating more widely. The audio comes from the BBC radio broadcast, in case anyone bothers to know. The video didn't sound nearly as good originally.
Such a beautiful version.
wow .... i love this version as much as the studio one
its so unbelievably gorgeous, there is nothing that can describe my love for their music
A truly moving performance, this is what being a human being is about. Such an amazing experience even on a screen 7 years after.
"sunk without a trace, to the bottom of the deep" nice alternate lyrics.
This was the first time they played this song live. It was not even recorded in studio yet. I had the audio, but i didn't know that a video existed, thank you for posting!
radiohead is the best band ever.
How lucky all the people who were there. I would have given anything for being there.
This song bring tears to my eyes it's so beautiful.
fuck the studio version this is so beautiful
all goose bumps when them violins kicked in.....
@artikelmusic Thom knows precisely where the time is and he's right on it. I'm a drummer and its not that hard to find the time just because there are no drums. Also he wrote the composition you don't think he's familiar with the timing. Hint: Arpeggi
beautiful :)!
Magnifique! I love the way Thom gets into the piece with his whole body.
Just gorgeous. (And TY looks so young!)
I was there!!!!!!!!!!
this was just amazing: two regrets though!
- can't find again the version of "where bluebirds fly" they played there
- can't find this version (or any) of "piano for children" shame: it was the first performance worldwide... and I felt like I was hearing the first ever performance of "stairway to heaven"
that might sound exagerated but I had the feeling this was history
This is so bloody beautiful.
Oh my god. It's perfect.
Awesome job
He is a phantom.
It's crazy how Thom doesn't know where the time is in this tune, but still great...
AH I LOVE THIS SONG
@artikelmusic Thom is a drummer too. Cool ego trip bro!
ME ENCANTOOOOOOOOOOOOO ! MUY BELLA LA VERSIÓN! :D
Musica que escuchan los DIOSES. orgasmico
@artikelmusic uh, I think he totally knows where the time is... ;)
I also want this song turned into audio, so I can download this to my musical devices.
in the deep in ocean!!!!!!!!
i love how thom is playing air piano. beautiful video
no, don't worry. great to see it here!
i would love an mp3 for this if anyone has it
thom yorke kind of looks like a crazy old man in this XD
This was available before the studio version and when that came out I remember being really disappointed. I was expecting In Rainbows to be this kind of sound. Everyone else seems to love the album, I'm never sure why (apart from Nude and All I Need), but hey ho.
Hi Wonsapon. Can't remember the source - hope you don't mind me reposting it!
kind of scary how thom looks straight into the far far away camera at 00:46
In a. Deep ocean
That's how they first recorded The National Anthem
@fizzgigify lol, im sure there are places where he is slightly lost, im a drummer, i should know ;-) you don't think so?
Are we hearing an Odnes Martenot (or several) on this one?
Is there more audio or footage from this show somewhere??!!
Can Jonny do no wrong in music?
Neat tune. Where would Radiohead be without Stockhausen or Reich?
"The secret to creativity is knowing how to hide your sources."
-Einstein
can they play this at my wedding?
Jeśli ktoś kocha muzykę, to właśnie ona! Hej!
@artikelmusic haha, yeah, you probably know more about timing than I do...it just suits my music snobbery better to act like the mistakes that people like Thom Yorke make are actually just musical genius. He's just lost in the music...
I don't think Jonny or Thom have ever created a sound that wasn't pleasant.
Yorke and Greenwood (Jonny)--same signs as Simon and Garfunkel (Libra and Scorpio)
What time signature is this in?
This song is perfect, but more orchestration would be beautiful.
minimalismo?
'pop is dead' well watever ..
lrn2minimalism
Ahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahaahahaha good follow up
maybe out of their asses?
