Reconsider the time gap condition for one to be eligible to be a veteran and kindly elaborate how this was arrived to in the act...was there soldiers involvement in this decision making??
Weldone Sir GM brig. Ondieki. Veterans Act 2022 Feb is a long awaited Act bcz many of us left the Svc very good way but got unfortunate treatment in getting the recommended issues like medical benefits, delayed pension even if one clearance very long time ago. Cheers sir.

Must one be pensionable to be recognized as a veteran? What if you completed your color service without indiscipline cases...?? You should consider both who served in the military within any period without discrimination..a soldier remains a soldier always factoring in indiscipline cases.

Recommended color service is 9yrs... let it be the requirement to be a veteran otherwise you lock out many soldiers
