Good interview but i wish she would have asked about the Kenya/Somalia border wall, also, why the military can not help with the cattle herders problem/ ruslting and tribes in the rift and north getting into skirmishes
@@DuniaYako In the interview Kibochi said that the constitution allows the military to engage internally where the govt needs help. For example, they manage civilian institutions like Kenya meat and NMS which goes against your argument that there mandate is only external threats. there is no difference in running civilian institutions and helping the police to curb internal skirmishes
I salute the KDF under the leadership of General Kibicho and his predecessors. It is perhaps the only department of the government that generally its disciplined members have resisted the evil allure of corruption that rampantly ravages nearly all other departments with gleeful impunity! I can't believe that I was dismissed from the system with only one offence after serving for 5yrs.!! It wasn't fare but I have to accept and move on with my life.Sir kabochi was then the Army Commander.
It is of absolutely no benefit having our soldiers in Somalia protecting Kismayu and other towns in Somalia. It is time to leave people who ruined their country to their own devices and protect our borders. Russia eventually left Afghanistan. The US eventually left Vietnam and are now leaving Afghanistan. When are our soldiers ever going to leave Somalia? And yeah,..we shouldn't have the military running civilian institutions.
