I have watched a ton of these cast net videos it seems.... figured there was a better way, THAT WAY TURNED OUT TO BE YOURS ... thank you so much for sharing!
Im new to fishing and right now I've been using a Sabiki rig to catch my bait fish. While it's been a lot of fun ( feeling them hit the line really fast in succession :). ). I'd really like to catch bait just a little faster so I can get to fishing. What brand of cast net should I get?
Good call Aaron. That depends o. What kind of fishing you’re doing? What type of bait fish are you hunting? There are lots of good brands of nets. Most of your bait and tackle shops carry good ones. Make sure you get led weights and not the plastic ones. Also, I’d try and find a net that has 1/4” holes. The bigger the holes the more gilled baits you get. If you’re netting on shallow water like beaches then no need to get a fast sinking net. Get one that’s lighter (lighter leads) it will help save your shoulder. I’d go with a 6’ net
@@watchyourlip3209 right now im just off the beach ( Spanish River, Boca Inlet ). Ive caught Pilchard? and one Atlantic Threadfish as bait so far. I've heard of a Mullet run happening soon? Again, I'm very new to fishing :)
@@watchyourlip3209 I prefer the same 1/4" mesh but the shelf was bare except for a 3/8" x 4'. Hey.....ya think "Tight Lips" is a good name for a fishing channel? It's a harmless name unlike "Rip My Lips". "Lick My Lips" for the ladies 🤣 < Tight Lines Bruh & THX~!

Why is the impression of the thumbnail different from the actual video. I need to see it done full send in the ocean.
It’s a tutorial bro. Just showing the mechanics. We have plenty of videos where we Casnett in the ocean.
I saw you had a lot of cast nets
Cast nets are our best friends!
what is the best overall mesh size? (liked & subbed)
I like 1/4” mesh for most baits unless you are netting mullet or other larger baits then you can go up to 3/8 or 1/2”. Thanks for the sub!!!!
