He is a vadagalai. Almost like us smartas. The only problem is with those Sri Vaishnavas of Tengalai sect. I ❤ Vaishnava bhakti of those Vaishnavas
. But at same time I feel bad when they negate the power of Aadi Shakti or Mahadev. Actually Ramanujar the avatar of Adiaesha , installed Vaishnavas with Vishnu worship only and only. But He himself took Avatar of Patanjali and learnt Yoga Sutra from Shiva.
