  • Welcome back to our ultimate Bronco Raptor overland build series! In this exciting update, we'll be showcasing the incredible work we've done since our last installment. Join us as we take a closer look at the impressive modifications we've made to our rig.
First up, we've installed the Addictive Desert Designs Rockfighter bumper, replacing the stock modular bumper. This high-profile upgrade not only enhances the rugged aesthetics but also provides us with a winch mounting option. Speaking of winches, we've mounted the reliable Warn Zeon Platinum 10-s, ensuring we're prepared for any off-road challenges.
To light up the trails, we've strategically placed the Baja Designs LP6 Spotlights and an S8 20" Light Bar on the bumper. Thanks to the wiring harnesses from SPV Specialty Performance Parts, we seamlessly integrated these lights with the factory wiring and switch locations, maintaining a clean and professional setup. We also used the DV8 Offroad Camera Relocation Kit to move our front facing camera, so that we could maintain our 360 degree view and also front camera view for off-roading and not worry about it being blocked.
With our roof rack securely in place, we've maximized its functionality by adding essential gear. Our 23Zero 270-degree Peregrine Awning, skillfully mounted using TrailRax brackets, provides ample shelter from the elements during our off-grid adventures. We've also utilized JCR Off-road mounts to attach our Baja Designs XL-R Racer spotlights and a pair of Baja Designs S2 Sports with yellow lenses for reliable chase lighting.
Taking full advantage of the roof rack's versatility, we've mounted antennas for our WeBoost Cell Signal booster and Midland GMRS radio, ensuring constant connectivity and communication while exploring remote locations. Inside the cabin, we've installed the WeBoost and Midland control units on our DV8 Center Console Molle Panel for easy access and organization. Additionally, we've integrated the SPOD Bantam Switch panel on the dash, enabling us to conveniently control the lighting connected to the SPOD Controller located in the engine bay.
Join us on this visual tour as we highlight each modification and share our excitement for the enhanced capabilities and aesthetics of our ultimate Bronco Raptor overland build. Make sure to like, subscribe, and hit the notification bell to stay tuned for future updates and off-road adventures!

Fantastic build. How is the camera working for that location?

Thanks for watching and commenting. I have actually moved it up to the bull bar. You can see it on newer pics or videos. It worked fine, but I was concerned that the winch rope, based on angle on a future recovery situation, could mess with it.

Are you going to keep the front camera like that? It looks at risk of being ripped off by the winch with it being in front of and below the fairlead

Thanks for watching. I did notice that, and I have moved it a bit. It is still under, but I was able to improve the angle. I will continue to monitor. This is the DV8 bracket. If I have to, I can switch to another bracket to place it above the loop. The DV8 bracket is not long enough to go one top (I tried) 😀

Did you have any issues with a whistle from that rack? We recently installed the same roof rack and are getting a whistle at speed and can’t seem to identify the exact source location. Curious if you’re able to mitigate wind noise with the rack and with all of the extra accessories!

Thanks for watching! Every once in a while on the highway, I would hear a whistle. Nothing too loud or obnoxious. Just low. That was with having the lights and antennas. Now I have the RTT and there is no whistle at all.

Hello thanks for the video nice looking bronco, I just purchased the bronco raptor and I’m going to put the same bumper on I’m curious do you know if the front end dropped from the weight of the new bumper and winch and if so how much? I know you can run spacers in the best ones to run are on the bottom of the shock there’s not a lot of info out there so just wondering to prepare myself before I order the bumper if the front end did drop and how much also do you notice under breaking does the front dive a little more, you’ve done a great job on that vehicle I love it👍👍👍👍

Hey!!!! Appreciate the comment. I love the bumper, and I really wanted a winch, so this one made sense to me and is working out great. I do not feel that the front end has dropped. I did not measure, so I can’t be 100% sure, but I feel it has not.
