I really loved this format, hearing you talk us through the race as you’re doing it, and that is such an amazing effort by you to get to the front, and a well deserved finish spot. But how did you manage to not shout some abuse at the guy with the dog?! 😂
Omg, Amazing 😅 you are stars! And get your gravel world qualification. Brilliant it takes me back to my mountain bike racing days. I did the Nocturne folding bike race there on a borrowed brompton! KLM lost my bike! Keep it up.
As always thanks for sharing your adventures, congratulations on making the cut. Good luck at the world championships, I can’t wait to see how you do there. I sure hope the weather is better and you actually get to ride on gravel. Cheers !!
First of all: congratulations! Great video, talking us through what's happening really works engaging. How did you even manage to film some footage, conditions were brutal
I tried to use Garmin Virb for 2hours this morning playing around with different video formats and codecs and it was not playing ball. Apologies I’m trying to sort.
First, congratulations for qualifying. That takes a bit of pressure off subsequent races. Holy...Crap...that race looked crazy hard. Transition to the beach must have been littered with fallen riders. The image of you with 15 K to go reminded me of old time photos of Welsh miners covered in coal. How did you manage to breathe with all that muck flying? I didn't see riders using neck gaiters...sort of surprising given the temperature and flying debris. Thanks for sharing. I had a bit of a setback for my next event as my doctor strongly recommended I do the 100 km vs 100 mile distance as my first "real" event of the season. Be well. Have fun in the mud you nutter 😂
Well Done, I think many looked at the route profile and said.. yeah I should be able to ace this and make the cut. But knowing Danish weather like myself, the wind is always part of any event, especially closer to water. I think alot of riders underestimated this event, I see the GCN girl didn’t even finish. One thing for sure, Danish are some of the best bike riders if this is what you deal with on a daily basis. Just look at the results, I’m pleased many got a new respect for the country and its riders. You footage was good enough to give us a sense of how mad they made this course, Sand is the stealthy ninja waiting to steal you off your bike! 🤭 Look forward to more. Keep pedalling.
Lovely video and great riding, shout out to #58 in blue white at around ruclips.net/video/D8841UaETs8/видео.html heard the stories but those are some nasty conditions, I'll stick to proper roads myself!
You Brits are so soft 😂 welcome to our windy Westcost 😂 🇩🇰🇩🇰 please visit again another time. Last year i rode the 100 km race In Blåvand. Very sunny and nice. The weather is a big factor 👍
Filming in those conditions, while holding the wheel of Asgreen. What an absolute legend!
Respect to all who compete in these conditions. Y’all are the truth.

Congrats Lawrence. The conditions in that race looked extremely grim.

Congratulations Lawrence..not only did you qualify , you've become sandpaper ! Yecchh , yeah , sand is eternal .
Awesome result and cool race. I'm also very confused about what the UCI thinks a gravel race is coming from America.

Did you mix up East and West ? I believe your on the West coast right ?
My bad, I can’t tell me left from me tights or West from Easts apparently 🤪
Good video. Why is it called eastern Denmark? It looks to be on the west coast.
Lol my bad, cheers Andy - good spot 🤪🙃

WHY DO YOU WRITE EVERYTHING IN CAPSLOCK ?!?!?!
BECAUSE UNFORTUNATELY IF I DO NOT (with a good thumbnail too) RUclips VIEWERS DECIDE ITS NOT WORTH WATCHING
I know it's all very trendy right now, but this gravel racing looks MISERABLE!
Looks grim. Stick to Southern Europe.
Rubbing sand in the face of Manon 😆
