that was a really nice tutorial, I don't have any access to contact cement, any tips for using super glue or maybe some alternative? last time i used super glue it makes the edges unnecessary hard
Oh no! hot glue works quite well with foam but, in my opinion, it's for different projects. If you have something glued using a hotgun, and apply heat to shape it, you are going to re-heat the glue and everything will fall apart in 5 seconds. It's really frustating when doing this kind of oval - circle shapes. (and also not really elastic) Another thing I dislike about hot glue is that, I really really love using rotatory tools on foam, but if I have hot glue on the surface, it's harder to shape, mold, it gets stuck... But the reason basically is because of the problems associated with re*heating the glue and everything falling apart 10 thousand times.
@@GunterCosplay Gunter thank you so much for such a great answer!!! I'm from a poor place so materials (when you can find them) are very expensive. Therefore I often tend to do all my projects with three materials (what I have at home tbh) and this kind of info is so important. Now there's a safer way to plan and save materials before starting. Hi! This was also my problem a few days ago. It says restricted when i tried downloading it via phone. But when i tried opening the link using pc, it worked. Just suggesting though, i don't know if it would also work for you.

I used to study special FX makeup so I have a complete Cast of my head, and also a face cast. So when I do masks and stuff I use that as reference to create the patterns!
