በጊዜ ሂደት እነዚህ እንተን ያስደስቱ የነበሩ ነገሮች ያረጁ፣ ተራ እና አሰልቺ ይሆናሉ። ይህ hedonic adaptation ነው። መቼም ደስተኛ የማትሆንበት ምክንያት። ሕይወት ልክ እንደ መሮጫ ማሽን ነው። ነገሮች ሁል ጊዜ ይንቀሳቀሳሉ ልጆች ይወለዳሉ እና የምትወዳቸው ሰዎች ይሞታሉ ቤት ትገዛለህ ሥራ ታጣለህ። ሆኖም እነዚህ ሁሉ ለውጦች ቢኖሩም ግን አንድ ቦታ ላይ እንቆያለን፣ በጭራሽ ወደ ፊትም ሆነ ወደ ኋላ አንቀሳቀስም።
ፍፁም ደስታ ሁልጊዜ ላይሰማህ ቢችልም፣ ከቀን ወደ ቀን የምትኖርበትን ህይወት መገንባት ትችላለህ።
