Hi from New Zealand. I lost my hair last year while having chemotherapy. It was a bit tough to start with. But when it started growing back I decided I liked it so off it came. I love it you can wear a hat and not end up with hat hair. It is also very liberating. I turn 70 in a couple of months and at this stage I am not planning to be growing it again. Love you’re videos.

I love having a buzzcut,I just shaved mine 2 days ago to a 1/2 inch length all around...I think in 3 years I have shaved mine 6 or more times...lol.😁✊🏻Never have regretted it "only in the winter"a little🙉🤦❤👴🏻
With a buzz cut I get lots of compliments, and a lot of women express the desire to do it, but can’t quite make the commitment. So easy to care for and I prefer mine dark, natural color. I have double crowns and a widows peak and some curl so a buzz works for me. I don’t think I could grow it out, that blah stage with trying to cope with what feels like really long hair is horrible. Interesting to hear from the other women, and they named some pros I didn’t even think of.👍🏻👍🏻 They are all beautiful. Lucky you to have such gorgeous clients.

Having a buzz cut is so empowering. I agree totally!
I love wearing beanies and hats when it's cold out as an accessory - they can look very chic. And in warmer weather I use headbands on days I want to dress up my short hair. It's fun, but it's going to look good with very little work so I don't HAVE to spend time doing something with my hair on days I don't want to.
I'll echo the haircolor con. I started going grey pretty young, so I get very self conscious when my roots grow out. But since I dye my hair close to my natural dark brown I feel like it's probably not as bad for my scalp as if I was bleaching it.
It's on my bucket list!

for the grow-out there are good solutions... well not only keep on buzzing .. but transfering the buzzcut into a pixie first, with the sides and nape kept short and faded while the top has time to grow. There are many pixie cuts with a longer top.
That’s a great solution but you’ll always end up with an ‘awkward’ stage. You’ll have to bite trough it.
I personally think it's really funny that I (as a dutch girl) just could immediately hear of the accents that u guys are dutch- even tho I obviously did not know at the start of this video.

Start of with a #8 Jill, that’s 25mm or an inch. Then you’re able to play around with it a little and you can go shorter if you like it.

I've been sporting a super short pixie for couple years ,which makes my bf embarrassed to be with me. I clipper it myself. I'm growing it out a bit just to be appease him...and for my son's wedding in December. (it's 4-16) Why do some of us try to please our man over our own desires??
I don’t have a clue why, maybe because (almost) everybody likes to be loved and admired by his/her partner. And if you don’t meet their standards the admiration lowers. That shouldn’t be the case but I guess we’re all a bit guilty, including myself.
proud2BaNurse - it’s instilled in us as children- same with men. Sadly we try to appease but it’s not appeasement that makes for a great relationship, I had my hair buzz cut in hospital after 3 back surgeries- that put my hair in perspective. My husband loved me and was happy to give me shampoos. I grew it out in shag type until it was long again but because I wanted it long. So we should do what we like- not what a man wants because that is just a form of submission.

Did you make this video just to make me less nervous about a buzz cut? I'm still not ready for that. I thought all of the models looked amazing though when they got theirs. Just not ready yet.
It took me a minute to finally decide to buzz mine off and I LOVE it! I'm 56 and had this on my bucket list for awhile and though it's not what "society" thinks a woman should have, I don't care what others think and besides it's YOUR life and as Rene said it grows back!! 😊
