I love the 40mm one of my best watches. This watch is a SUPER sleeper!
It really is a super sleeper. Just amazing on the wrist! Congrats on it!
That strap is really the strap the US Air Force, and I believe the Army too, used well before the Royal Navy came up with their now NATO strap. And since it doesn’t have the extra, extraneous, nylon band running under the watch it wears much better (also doesn’t have the metal bands that can cause noise and scratch things). This is all in all a much better choice for the nylon band IMHO, especially given Longines history with US military watches and US aviation heritage.
The only down side is I have to get a set of spring bars so that I can swap that strap with another nato strap:(

I love that the ti version doesn’t have a date window. I could definitely see myself with one of these!
But what if you want to know the date? 🙁 I wish it had a clear back too, but I guess it's not in the aviator style.

Great watch - love the Titanium cased watches and currently own three different types. As I get older I like the clean style of this type of pilots watch. Nice piece and good review.

I am wearing a Spirit Chronograph with black dial and steel bracelet. I wish Longines made it in titanium when I purchased it a year ago.

Is it black coated or just titanium color?
It is titanium, so it has a slightly warmer hue to it.
You didnt mentioned which grade of titanium it is.If 2 I wouldnt consider it over ss version
