Germany was made to "take the blame" for both WWI and II as if they existed in a vacuum, I have just travelled through France by autoroute and every service station has books about WWI which resulted in the "hurt" done to France in the Franco- Prussian War of the 1870s, it's nonsense, not one of those books mentions that France had attacked France and stole Alsace and Lorraine in the 1830s nor that they had been German staes lands under the Holy Roman Empire.
